Unless if you're him, listening to its game soundtrack like loudly instead taking me there for door-to-door treating?! 😠😔*sigh* It always like this that I'm prefer going alone or with my friends to hangout instead. Though you know my brother, tuning up his favorite type of music other than hip-hop or whatever. Regardless, we're still skunky siblings. Best I can keep an eye of him instead. Come on, Ziggy! Publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Berzerk Studio have announced demon-slaying action adventure game Infernax for Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch in Q1 2022.

Story

Infernax is the adventures of a great knight who returns to his homeland only to find it plagued with unholy magic.

While on your quest to find and destroy the source of this corruption by any means necessary, you will face ruthless creatures, dangerous beasts, and precarious terrains.

Face the Consequences

Every decision you make is crucial, would you rather:

Slay or help someone?

Use your experience gained from slashing monsters to get more life, mana or damage?

Think well before deciding on what to do my friend. A single choice can change the game; remember that thing you did to that guy? Farmer Pepper remembers.

Consequence Faces

Smash as many monsters as you can to get some money, spend your savings to buy better weapons and armors from the blacksmith, gear up and get stronger for this journey of smashing even more faces!

Every choice you make open up different side quests to obtain powerful weapons and skills or money

Storm the Castle and slay their bosses before more innocent fall to the mysterious curse that plagues your land. In the end, only you can rid the land of Upel of these monsters, whichever way you decide to do it; you do you, dude…

Side-scrolling roguelike co-op action game Maximum Thunderness announced for PC - Gematsu

Infernax developer Berzerk Studio has announced Maximum Thunderness, a side-scrolling roguelike cooperative action game coming to PC via Steam in 2026. A demo is available now.

About

In Maximum Thunderness, you will fight the invading alien force of S.K.U.L.L., a nefarious organization hellbent on taking over the earth through very minor misdemeanors. Upgrade your character’s abilities and powers, collect skills, various trinkets and meals to help you and your friends get to the final boss bad guy dude! Online or local, up to three friends can play together.*

An Extreme Response to Minor Problems

Subdue these dastardly aliens to gather an ever expanding collection of skills, each one revealing new depths of your character’s true potential and underlying instability. Naturally, defeating crime will net you some cold hard human cash money, how else do you people pay your rent if not by dispensing justice over the extraterrestrials? No need to pay for rent here though, you get to spend all of that dough on snacks and other stuff that will help you on your “heroic” journey. Since every mission is different, you’ll get to experiment with gallons of different ways to ensure these space miscreants never try to shave raccoons to sell as cats to old ladies ever again! Yea, that happened; fool me thrice, shame on me.

Get Rocks, Get Stronger

Earn Alien Space Rocks after every mission, trade them in to unlock new powerful skills, bizarre trinkets and meals of, at best, questionable nutritious value for you to pick from during a future mission. These shiny shiny rocks can also be used to unlock new playable characters, as well as to buy them stat points to give you an edge in the field. Where do these Alien Space Rock come from? Nobody knows. Space perhaps? It’s a mystery to everybody really, even to the space aliens.

With The Power of Friendship

Find your friends on the World Wide Web to fight S.K.U.L.L. wherever you are! Up to three heroes can join up to fight crime, together, against crime.** You might all prefer the comfort of your own basement: no problem! Invite them over for an old-school couch cooperative session.*** *&**They don’t actually have to be your friends, general acquaintance, family member, your annoying three doors down neighbor’s cousin, that guy BFGBlasterx69 you played once with online; the world is your oyster. ***Please do not invite strangers from the internet into your home; at least not because we told you to.
