Mother bought this about 15 years ago, specifically to look for whether there was anything about burqas or actual hatred of women in there (there isn’t). From what I can remember, there’s an awful lot of people they have a problem with, their own women are not one of them.

Was thinking, if I ever get around to making videos, I could do some readings of the more interesting or batshit parts, as well as pointing out the bits that are the basis for Sharia. Or I could just take pictures.

concept: peridot falling in love with amethyst, but doesn't realize it. struggeling to understand her feelings, she goes to garnet for advice. garnet and peri has a long conversation on how love works, and garnet then goes on to realize that she still has some internalized homophobia despite what other people think because she and peri also discussed how homeworld frowns upon that. and since garnet hasn't had anyone to work through things with, she peri and ame learnd to deal with self-acceptance together.
