Bee issues honestly hit close to home for me, wanting to be like your successful father figure (?) but kinda failing at doing that sucks, and it's even worse when you do find that leading style (and I think bee's is very much "I am going to be your friend , but when you start acting up I am going to call you out on your bs") you don't realize it and you make the same mistakes.

I think a lot of people go through those kinds of feelings, and that’s why this Bee works so well. Like I said before, he’s a very relatable character, because he’s inexperienced and uncertain and trying to find his ground. No one goes through life knowing exactly what to do all the time, and it would be unrealistic to portray Bee as such.

Normally, I’m not a person who is so YAY BUMBLEBEE, though I do enjoy TFP Bee and have roleplayed TFA Bee. But what I like about this Bee is that he’s just this regular, dorky guy who’s given a really difficult, important task and suddenly put in a leadership position he never expected. He doesn’t know what to do with it and he might make some poor choices, but he’s also learning and growing as time goes on.

That sort of solid character development makes him real and interesting and easier to understand, because I can look at him at pretty much any given time and go “I totally know how you feel, Bee” and I’m sure a lot of other people can too.
