I have no idea what to request but hm... Writing prompts, maybe a slice of life of Gojo and Megumi, where Megumi fathers the father¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Ooooh, what about Megumi in middle school, and Gojo in a parent teacher meeting? (And Megumi wants lightning to blitz him off the plain of existence)

"I'm just saying that I'm a little concerned for him. He acts like he's carrying the weight of the world and— Mr. Gojo, can you please stop spinning on the chair?" the teacher says, visibly irritated.

She's sitting at her desk, the walls behind her decorated with diplomas and motivational quotes. Her desk is covered in ungraded papers and little trinkets the kids have given her. Gojo and Megumi sit across from her—Gojo in a spinning chair, while Megumi sits in a regular classroom chair.

Gojo spins around again and faces the teacher. "It'll be fine," he mutters, continuing to rotate with a smirk on his face.

Megumi visibly grimaces and reaches for him, grabbing the back of the chair to stop the spinning.

"Can you stop? You're embarrassing me," he hisses under his breath.

Gojo pouts. "I'm thinking."

"You'll break it," the teacher chimes in from across the desk.

"I'm rich."

The teacher sighs, takes off her glasses, and pinches the bridge of her nose. "That's not how it works."

She takes a deep breath to regain her composure, puts her glasses back on, and folds her hands together on the desk.

"As I was saying, Mr. Gojo, that is my concern. He's too mature. He acts like an adult during group projects, and honestly sometimes he's more adult than I am."

Megumi sinks in his chair.

Gojo crosses his arms and glances at him with a sly smirk.

"Megumi, what did I tell you?"

Megumi sinks further, his cheeks flushing red. He throws an arm over his face to hide his embarrassment.

"To stop being such a grandpa," he mutters, already feeling a headache forming.

Gojo gasps dramatically. "See? He remembers my advice. That's good parenting."

Megumi groans. "You're not helping."

"I'm so sorry about his behavior, Ms…" Gojo trails off, clearly forgetting her name as he looks around for any clue.

"James," she mutters flatly.

"Ah, well, Ms. James," he says, suddenly sitting up straight and reaching for his bag.

Megumi immediately narrows his eyes.

"Don't."

Gojo freezes. "...Don't what?"

"Whatever you're about to do."

Gojo smiles and pulls out a container of cookies. "Would you like some cookies?"

Megumi blinks in disbelief. "You seriously brought snacks to a parent-teacher conference?"

"Well, why not? Everyone likes snacks." Gojo smiles, opens the container, takes out a cookie, and offers it to Megumi. "I know you want one," he sing-songs.

Megumi scoffs and swats his hand away. "You're ridiculous," he groans, glancing at the teacher. "Are we done? I want to leave before he humiliates me even more."

Gojo cuts in before she can reply.

"Oh, stop being such a wet blanket. Let her at least try one of the cookies." He leans forward with a bright grin, holding the container out to her.

"Come on," he says. "I made them with love just for you."

She stares at the container for a moment, then slowly takes one. She bites into it while Gojo watches her intensely. Megumi just shakes his head, continuing to grumble about how embarrassing his dad is.

"...They're pretty good. You actually made these?"

Gojo beams, about to open his mouth to reply.

"He did not," Megumi cuts in immediately.

Gojo groans.

"So you didn't make them," she says.

"Okay, maybe I didn't make them with love," Gojo admits with a grin. "But I give them out with love."

He winks.

Megumi stands up abruptly, his chair scraping loudly. He sighs and rubs his temples.

"I'm sorry about him," he tells Ms. James.

Gojo gasps. "Excuse you. I'm the parent here."

Megumi doesn't even look at him.

"Debatable. We're leaving."

Gojo is about to protest, but Megumi is already out the door.

"Now, Dad!" he shouts from the hall.

Gojo gives Ms. James an apologetic smile and stands up.

"Teenagers," he says with a sigh, grabbing another cookie before heading after him.

"You're going to leave the rest of the cookies?" Ms. James asks as he grabs the doorknob.

Gojo looks over his shoulder. "Keep 'em. After all, it gives me an excuse to see you again." He flashes a grin. "I'll be back to pick up the container. It's my favorite one."

And with that, he turns the knob and steps outside.

"Okay, bud, ready to head home?" he asks.

He's met with Megumi's flushed face.

Megumi scoffs. "I heard you flirting with her. You disgust me," he says with an eye roll.

Gojo laughs and pulls Megumi into a hug, ruffling his hair. Megumi struggles for a moment before giving up.

"...You're the worst," he mutters.

"But I'm your worst." Gojo grins. "Plus, you love me."

Megumi shoves him off. "Yeah, whatever. Let's just go home."

Quick thoughts on the Light Novel Chapter 3.2:

I really like the way it shows us how insecure Hoshina was back in the day. When Mina just briefly mentioned his skills, he immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was about to suggest he give up. Like Hoshina... she barely even knows you at this point... why would she want you to come all the way into her office just to ask you to give up on your dream??? She’s not Levi yk… (jk)

It is almost as though this has become his defense mechanism—to keep assuming the worst about what others think of him in order to avoid being hurt or disappointed, which stems from the fact that he has been hurt and lack of validation for nearly all his life up until this point.

But what makes it more interesting and meaningful to me, is that this particular scene truly sheds light on why Hoshina holds such deep respect for Ashiro. Like she is the first person to genuinely see his potential and give him the validation he has long sought. She not only affirmed his ability but also played a pivotal role in his character development and I love it!

I’ve ranted about this scene in all three manga/anime/novels because it is just THAT compelling!

They’re the best dynamic in the whole show imo!
