Thanksgiving is a sort of strange and silly holiday to me. It’s silly because I’m grateful each day, mindfully so, for all the lessons and love in my life. . This thanksgiving was different though. It was the best thanksgiving, possibly ever, where I did everything my way. Watching the parade with the kids (the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is a favorite tradition and I am so glad they still had it this year!). Pumpkin pie, watermelon and leftover pizza for Breakfast. Dress up and photo shoot with kids. Then from noon on I was alone! #solomia . . I loved every damn minute of it!!! So this thanksgiving I was grateful for quiet, long showers, yoga, spa days at home, signing final divorce papers, not rushing, no traffic, shopping at Walgreens for stocking stuffers, sunset hikes, a late and light dinner, wine without kids whining, watching Queen’s Gambit, not having to get up a million times to get kid snacks, being able to actually enjoy our dogs’ loving company, having the bed to myself, waking up refreshed, “finding” the elves back for the season, posting this with coffee and no interruptions.... 🥰 I think my self-care game was stronger in this one half day than it has been all year combined. I had time to THINK and digest all that has happened this year. ❤️❤️❤️ for that I am forever grateful!! . . Now all I need is some Xmas pajamas...... lol @lemon.18 😂. . #happyhealthyhumble #happythanksgiving2020 #bestdayoftheyear #feelinggoodaboutmyself #selfcaredaily #gratefulaf #yogamakesmehappy #sunsethike #alonetimeisgood #timetothink #mindfulmoments #feelingfree #bepresentinyourlife #divorcesucks #singlemomstrong #miatemple #singlemomlifestyle #oozeinspo #oozeinspiration https://www.instagram.com/p/CIG7RWID5-y/?igshid=1kpk6gkvzv4cr
