okAYYYY ive played thru rebirth+retribution like 3 times now. how in the FUCK are you getting the argent romance plot skhfjdkasdk is there even one? my sidestep(?) is still hung up on Ortega, but THRILLED by argent and had her kiss them on the bridge and talk in the office but ahfsajdfasdkfjafks i cant get any further than that.
To be FAIR I’m pretty sure the Argent romance arc is still unfinished, and I’ve personally filled in a lot of the gaps with uhhh headcanons and wishful thinking. (I might regret that once Retribution is actually finished but for now YOLO.)
The bulk of what you can get is the bridge fight and/or elevator encounter as the sort of like… gateways into the romance, and the biggest payoff is during the auction (idk how much you’ve explored that terrifying labyrinth of a chapter, so the most spoiler-free advice, if you need it: pose as a buyer to infiltrate the casino and be a bit eagle-eyed while you’re kickin’ it before the bidding starts). And then the brief post-auction encounter at HQ, which I suspect will lead into more but doesn’t yet.
We might get a little more with the next update to the alpha, since I know Malin mentioned padding out the hero hunter path a bit, but they’ve also said pretty plainly that a lot of Argent content is Big Spoilers that just won’t be in the alpha, full stop. (I think I know why now and hoo. Oh boy.) So for now…. patience is a virtue (or running wild with speculative fanfiction because no one can stop you).
