H/c:teen Shane was on his own a lot,only child of a single parent who had to work constantly,kind of lonely & quiet, that he fell in love with the first girl he ever dated like diving into the ocean from a thousand foot cliff bc it finally felt like he was whole, & got her nickname tattooed on his chest two weeks before she broke his heart into a million pieces & he met Rick in that mopey time post break up & they became inseparable,& finally he wasn't lonely anymore bc he found his brother.

but wow rip my heart out i can so see this??? shane going all in for a girl and then getting his big heart broken :( and what a cute thought for the tattoo!!! shane is a hopeless romantic #confirmed

Not yet. I keep starting then giving up because I’m afraid it’ll be too scary and I don’t want to have nightmares :(

Re: worrying over frank and the manner in which he inevitably returns to the war™ - I think that the interaction we see with him and Donny isn't for naught, it's almost a microcosm of what I expect to see from him in the future, a reluctant return. His war isn't just about vengeance, it's also about the fact that he won't see good people hurt,even thought he tries to mind his own business. Sure,he derives satisfaction from"punishing"bad people,but he's driven just as much to Protect as to Punish

‘he won’t see good people hurt, even though he tries to mind his own business’ you hit the nail on the head right there. i do think this is kinda where mcu frank differs from comic frank, though? i’m not all that familiar beyond some of the more iconic runs but one of the things that makes frank stand out in the comics world is that he doesn’t really care about hostages and innocents and will literally do whatever it takes to put down the bad guys, no matter who gets caught in the crossfire. 

personally i love that frank feels that need to protect people and that his drive to keep the people he loves safe is what separates him from the unhinged murderers he gets compared to, so i’m really hoping they stick to his characterization and don’t try and take him down that darker path.

Sometimes I'm in the mood for the cheesy holiday romance made for Tv/Netflix junk, and rose being in it was a pleasant surprise (btw I scrolled through your live blog and yes that movie was ridiculous ��)

netflix recommended to me! and i was like ‘maybe???’ 

there are def cliches sprinkled about but i didn’t expect half the movie to be about the protag bonding with the little sister, even after the little sister finds out about who she really is. it wasn’t super heavy on leads, it really depended on rose and she did a good job.
