My notation copies of The Locked Tomb series have arrived! My partner pointed out that they are in such good shape that maybe these we should keep pristine, and we should notate the existing set. I haven’t decided, and now I need to find lots of sticky tabs and notes and all kinds of fun things which I am looking forward to.

I’ve been trying to hydrate more lately and cut back on caffeine a bit. I drink one cup of black black coffee in the morning and I would have an energy drink during work but my problem is that since it takes me about five business years to drink any beverage, so I’d nurse that energy drink for like 6 hours and because of the neurodivergent brain I got, I get distracted so I don’t drink so I forget to get water. So I’m basically nursing an energy drink all day and only drinking water out of work. So. I decided to fill my big ass mason jar of ice and water and just sip on that all day. Been doing it over a week now, and it’s super working! I even refill it a bunch of times. It’s so easy to drink ice water. I think I’m getting over the caffeine withdrawal.

I’m also cutting back on alcohol. (I don’t drink every day but I’m almost 38 and even one drink at night can fuck up my sleep now) so I’m trying to get into making mocktails so I can have a fun drink for when I want one after work and I don’t feel like water.

I feel like a kid mixing potions in the back yard which is super fun.

okay so i really need to know, are people still using coasters? is my household just full of gremlins and the only ones putting our beverages on bare surfaces and hoping for the best? (please share for increased sample size).
