some massachusetts lore: did you know that beverly hills , california is named after beverly farms (a neighborhood in beverly, massachusetts) which also means by extension the classic cinematic masterpiece "beverly hills chihuahua" is a massachusetts reference
You know, when I first read this I thought to myself "There is no way that is true". Turns out my first instinct was wrong, what a neat fact.
Also, further evidence that Cali doesn't hold a candle to Massachusett's swag. They had to steal ours for one of their most famous cities.
