My HM run is going great so far.
I realized why I love playing as a sorcerer in BG3 so much. It feels very natural to me: I do exactly one thing and then I need a long rest, or I’ll die.
The thing about Astarion (spawn) is you can--kinda--fix him and he'll be much sweeter to you and a marginally better person, but only if you play a Tav who is just naive enough to trust him, willing to put up with him, and potentially broken enough to almost understand him--and as long as your Tav is unflinchingly willing to commit justifiable acts of unspeakable violence on his behalf, he'll be loyal.
But also: 🚩🚩🚩yikes.🚩🚩🚩
It’s kind of sad you never see either the owlbear egg or the Githyanki egg hatch in the game. (That I know of) They should hatch in like, Rivington, and you get to raise them as siblings. Lae’zel raises the Githyanki, and Halsin or maybe Shadowheart raises the owlbear. The gith child has two big, furry, terrifying siblings. I want to see Lae’zel raise a child. We went to all the work to steal them, and refused to sell them. We should get to see them hatch and learn their names.
