who are BTL?

BTL (비티엘) or Beyond the Limit were a boy group who debuted in 2014 with the song Too-G (투지 (鬪志)). Sadly, the group disbanded before we could get their first comeback ‘Gold Moon’ due to issues out of their hands. 

So where are the members now?*

Jisu - 지수 - Lee Jisu - 1st Leader, Vocal, Dance - @/ljs5517

Jisu enlisted in the military while BTL were still together

His most recent release is from January 18th where he collaborated with MiSO of Girls Girls on Benjamin Button

Jean Paul - 쟝폴 - Kim Sungwan - 2nd Leader, Vocal @/blanc7jeanpaul

Jean Paul has re-debuted as the leader of Blanc7

They debuted with the song YEAH and made their first comeback with HELLO

Jay - 제이 - Kim Jay / Joel - Rap - @/joeljaylane

Started a YouTube channel JoelJayTV where he released his first solo MV FADED

Robin - 로빈 - Lee Hyunggeun - Rap - @/dlgudrms013

From what I know he hasn’t released anything since BTL disbanded

Do.Ka - 도카 - Kim Daewoon - Dance - @/__dae_woon

Do.Ka left BTL and debuted in Road Boyz under the name Haneul. They disbanded a year later in 2016 after two music videos - Show Me Bang Bang and Shake It, Shake It.

Do.Ka later joined B.Heart with two other former Road Boyz members and goes under the name TaeU. They have released three music videos so far - Beautiful Day, It’s Good, and Summer Night.

Q.L - 큐엘 - Lee Sanghyun - Vocal @/sang9_sang9

Q.L, now known as Sang9 has started his own YouTube channel! He uploads vlogs and features the other BTL members such as this one with Max while he is fulfilling his military service.

Max - 맥스 - Kim Kyudong - Vocal - @/x_max_xam_x

Max re-debuted as a soloist under the name Pastello in 2017 with his song Fly.

Pastello is currently serving his mandatory military service

Allen - 엘렌 - Oh Jimin - Vocal, Maknae - @/o_jimine // @/daily_georgemans

According to Jimin’s instagram he is now an actor under HSMCN

YuA - 유아 - Yoo Kyungmok - Vocal, Maknae - @/yookkkmok

Kyungmok recently participated on Produce 101 Season 2 as the only idol under Total Set. He was unfortunately eliminated in the first round.

Yeon** - 연 - Oh Sanghyuk - @/o_yeon_jun

According to his instagram it seems his is an aspiring actor

Aelen** - 알륜 - @/haoyilun

Aelen hasn’t posted in a few months and most of his old posts featured him spending time with Vermuda members, specifically ChoiSeon

Besides physical decline, isolation and lack of adequate sanitation, financial limitations make older refugees extremely vulnerable. Brave Heart Foundation is working to provide warm food, hygienic items and other activities in order to fill their days with dignity and meaning.
