don’t say asami is a lesbian. just stop it. she is canonically bisexual. that is a fact. it’s blatant bi erasure. don’t take away our representation so you can have some.
‘oh but it’s just my opinion!’
no. don’t label canon lgbtq+ characters.

Why do you hate lesbians
please tell me how saying ‘she is not a lesbian’ makes me hate lesbians ?? asami’s literally bi. its canon.
the same goes for adora. you shouldnt be erasing canon lesbian representation because you think shes bisexual or straight. but i bet if i made the post about adora instead, people would still be coming into my inbox, hiding behind the anonymous filter and saying im biphobic.
dont accuse me of being lesbophobic. thats so pathetic.
Before the Legend of Korra season four finale, if you asked me what bi characters I relate to in the media, I wouldn’t have been able to answer that. I might have said bi captain america, but I don’t relate to him all that much. Now when you ask me, you know who I’m going to say?
Canon bi Korra and canon bi Asami. They are the most meaningful representation I’ve ever had in my life up to this point. I have never, ever had an Asian bi woman character who I could look up to, who I felt proud to identify with. Now I have Asami. Korra, as the Avatar, is the hope for the Legend of Korra universe, but she also represents a great hope for me personally, as does Asami.
A bi Avatar? Bi Asami? Fine bi me.
