Hi!! I was wondering if I could make a request for headcannons for Natsu, Gajeel, Bickslow, and Laxus reacting to their girlfriend saying I love you to them for the first time?? She knows she loves them, and they know she does too, but she's always had a hard time actually saying the words out loud. I hope that makes sense, I'm so sorry if it doesn't. Natsu:
He also has trouble saying how he feels so he would never pressure anyone to voice their feelings if they aren't ready
So when you quietly say 'I love you' one afternoon, he completely freezes
Natsu has known for a while that you loved him, with the random gifts you would give or your need to be close to him, he understood and was happy just receiving your affections that way
But hearing those words, that are so quite that had it not been for his heightened senses he would have missed them, he completely freezes
After taking a second to process what just happened, he pulls you into a tight hug, whispering the phrase back to you
He makes sure that you know he feels the same and that he is overjoyed that you felt comfortable enough to say those words
Gajeel:
He's dense but he could tell you cared for him, especially with the relaxed scent you gave off when you are around him
He's never been big on feelings and mushy words so he never expects you to say those three words
So when it does happen he has to do a double take, and freezes for much longer than Natsu would
He'd just stare for a good minute or two trying to figure out if he actually heard you right, he only snaps out of it when he realizes that you are panicking and trying to take it back
Gajeel will definitely panic while trying to reassure you that he feels the same and that you didn't do anything wrong, he's bad with words give him a second
After words he will shower you in gifts and compliments for your bravery and as an apology for making you worry that he didn't feel the same
Laxus:
He short circuits, like you can see the electricity crackling around him as he processes what you said
Laxus may be harsh to others but to the ones he loves he can be vary gentle
So you can expect him saying that he loves you too, and he even goes as far as thanking you because he's done some shitty stuff and is honored to still receive your love
Later after the shock wears of though he is definitely going to make comments about how he knew for a while he just wanted you to say something first
He is extremely respectful of your boundaries and will always wait for you to make the first move
Bickslow: (I love this man and he needs more attention)
Anyways, he is completely flabbergasted
Like yeah, you've been dating for awhile and he knew you loved him after all why else would you deal with his bullshit, but like hearing you say it that's a whole new ball game
Bickslow will 100% ask if you are sure because he doesn't want you to say it now and then decide later that you regret it because it will break him
He just can't hold back the smile that crosses his face when you assure him that yes you in fact really mean it
He then has to hold in a laugh after he says he loves you too because his babies are repeating the sentiment while bumping into your sides causing you to start laughing

Alzack Connel: his home is quite far from the guild, on a ranch a city away. Has folks there. However, he lives more in the boys’ dormitories than anything, to get quick access to the guild. When he starts dating Bisca Connel, he stays over at her place so much he practically lives there. After the timeskip, he moves in with her.
Bickslow: Dormitories, but he’s gone to Laxus’s place so many times he practically lives there. When Laxus is kicked off Fairy Tail, Bickslow visits more- decorated it, a little. Holy shit I just saw an image of Bickslow’s face he is so ugly I need that man. Pays some of the fees.
Droy: shares a place with Jet and Levy. The three share rent together. Levy pays most of it.
Elfman Strauss: Lives in a one-story house with his sister. The two have different rooms, Elfman pays for more of the fees. Funds? I don’t know. Goes on more missions than the average mage to afford the house. Has not touched Lisanna’s room other than to clean it. In the beginning, he’s tried, but has broken down every time. Now, he takes care of the cleaning around the house. Takes care of the cooking, too.
Mystogan: Did not live anywhere. Travelled a lot, so he’d mostly stay at hotels or inns. Makarov tried to offer for him to stay at the dormitories, but he denied. He had no place to call home.
Fried Justine: has his own place. Nobody knows where it is, though. Not because he’s mysterious, but it’s in such. A place. Visited Laxus the most, and when Laxus got expelled, he didn’t move in, but tended to it a lot more than he did before the kicking out. Does not add his personal touches, but they’re still there. Pays some of the fees.
Gajeel Redfox: Dormitories, both in the Phantom Troupe(?), and Fairy Tail. Holds shoobedobaa performances in the dorms. Practices late at night, and gets yelled at a lot for that.
Gildarts Clive: Canon, but he has his own place. When revealed about his daughter, he offers Cana to stay at his place (even if it’s not good for having somebody sleep over). Even if she denied, he’s made an area for her to sleep, if she ever needs her dad.
Gray Fullbuster: why is it Gray and not Grey? When he first came, he lived in the dormitories, and still does. However, after Lucy came, he’s been around so much he practically lives there.
Happy: lives with Natsu. Sometimes would be found in the old shed(?) Lisanna and Natsu made. When he does, he recalls a warmth he doesn’t remember. Wakes up confused every time.
Jet: Shares a place with Jet and Levy. The three share rent. Jet pays some of it.
Laxus Dreyar: Why is your last name spelled like that. As a kid, he lived with his father, but after his father got kicked out, Laxus was taken into Makarov custody. Soon, though, Laxus moved out and bought his father’s place back. It never felt right, until the Thunder Legion started visiting a lot more.
Loke: Used to be the Celestial Realm, but after the murder of Karen, he slept over at his dates’ house. Free of charge. After Lucy summoned the Celestial King and pardoned Loke, he now lives in the Celestial Realm. Spends a lot of time there now because he missed it. Dearly.
Macao Conbolt: has his own place, which is shared with his son.
Makarov Dreyar: Has his own place. Honestly kinda nice- I mean, he’s a guild master and a wizard saint. Used to live with his son until he moved out, and used to live with his grandson until he moved out. The house is emptier than it’s ever been.
Max Alors: Used to be dormitories, but had sand (that’s his magic, right?) all over the place to the point he got his own apartment, but caused too much damage to the point he had to get his own small house.
Mest Grydar: ARE YOU THE WEIRDO EVERYONE’S BEEN TALKING ABOUT??? He has his own apartment.
Nab Lasaro: his own place. Does not earn enough money to live at the dormitories.
Natsu Dragneel: His own place, but sometimes, he’d be found in the old shed(?) he made with Lisanna. Now, he practically lives with Lucy.
Panther Lily: Lives with Gajeel.
Reedus Jonah: His own place. Not bad at all- sells his paintings on the side, so he gets some good money to afford it. Painted on the walls himself, and paints them at least once a year. Everything is his canvas.
Romeo Conbolt: you joined Fairy Tail? Lives with his dad.
Vijeeter Ecor: The kinda guy who lives at the dorms. Hosts little dancings shows for the guys. When Gajeel came by, he’d butt in the performances with his shoobedobaa bullshit. The two would clash a lot in that tome.
Wakaba Mine: Lives with his wife in a house.
Warren Rocko: used to live in the dormitories- this was when he had shaky control of his magic. On some nights, he couldn’t turn it off, and the thoughts were so loud he’d cry himself to sleep, and when days came by, he’d isolate himself. Moved out into his own place, isolated from other people, even if he can control his magic now. Would like to live with Max.
Female members:
Bisca Connel: Dormitories. Used to live on a farm like Alzack, the ranches didn’t know each other, though. Hers is in a different city. After the time skip, she and Alzack buy a place and move in together.
Cana Alberona: when she first came in, Cana lived in the dormitories. However, as she got older, she got her own place in order to show ‘strength’- somebody worthy of being in Gildarts’ presence. Misses the dormitories. After she reveals her relationship with to Guildarts, she considered his offer of living with him, but decided against it (for now). Feels too weird for her.
Carla: dormitories. Shares a room with Wendy.
Erza Scarlet: dormitories. Used to stress everybody out by running the place like a drill sergeant. Strict wake and bed times, training times, had chores lists, and patrolled the halls like some kinda ward. Terrifying. When Lucy came, she wet over so often she practically lived there. everybody was happy that Erza would get off their backs. But, they kinda miss the routine she would give them.
Evergreen: Dormitories, but has gone to Laxus’s place so many times it’s practically her own. When Laxus was kicked, she started adding her own touches. Pays some of the fees.
Juvia Lockser: Had her own place when in the Phantom Troupe(?), and when joining Fairy Tail, she still lived in that place. After the uh. The. Arc where Laxus does his Battle of Fairy Tail bullshit, she started to live in the dormitories to feel the closeness she loved seeing from the others.
Laki Olietta: dormitories. Canon. I think?
Levy McGarden: shares a place with Jet and Droy. The three share rent together. Everyone says they pay equal rent from their own pockets, but the guild members just know its job money, and really going into it, since Levy does most the work during missions, she technically pays the most rent.
Lisanna Strauss: Lived with Mirajane and Elfman. After her ‘death’, she lived with Edolas Elfman and Mirajane. Never felt right, though. Her room wasn’t her room, no matter how much she changed it. When coming back to Earthland, her old room was given back, but it also. Didn’t feel right. She felt relieved, coming back to her room, seeing it untouched and clean- like going back in time- but her preferences and her personality has changed so much it… didn’t feel right, after a week.
Lucy Heartfilia: Canon, has her own place. Because of how many times Team Natsu comes over, she’s changed her apartment. Blankets on the couch, raw fish in the fridge (if those existed?) cold water set on the table, and pajamas folded on her nightstand. Even after Fairy Tail disbanded, she still kept up those habits.
Mirajane Strauss: Has a one-story house with Elfman. Used to be the breadwinner, and because of her S Class quests, was able to score a nice place. Used to be the breadwinner. Now, though, she doesn’t take quests anymore, so it’s a bit of a struggle. Not too bad, though. Although Elfman may pay more, it’s not by much. Modeling pays a good Jewel. Cleaned Lisanna’s room the first few months she died, and she’d push through the tears. Had to look through Lisanna’s closet in order to see what was more ‘girly’ or more close to Lisanna’s appearance. Considered taking some of her clothes, but almost threw up when thinking about it. When Elfman goes out on missions, she cooks meals for him based on how long he’ll be gone for. Has not touched Lisanna’s room in a year.
Porlyusica: she’s a member of Fairy Tail??? Has her own place. Canon.
Wendy Marvell: Dormitories. Canon. Has considered getting her own place, but Carla argues against it.
Summary: A SFW Alphabet drabble for the character Bickslow from Fairytail

Notes: I really love this character and don't see enough headcanons or drabbles for him :(
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?):
He's very affectionate to his friends and lovers, I mean he loves his babies too. He loves showing it through gentle teasing with friends or hugs/wrapping an arm around them. He's very loud and will try to embarrass his friends if possible. With his significant other He's a little more gentle, he's still very playful, but he'll slow down to listen to you. You have his full attention and support and protection.
B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?):
He's sarcastic and dry and honestly a little hard to tell if he's joking or not. Still, he's loyal to a fault, still a little flawed but he does his best if he likes you enough.
He's here for a good time, honestly make him laugh and crack jokes with him, it's the easiest way to get close to him. Otherwise the bare minimum is to not be annoyed or creeped out by his "babies".
C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?):
A huuuge cuddlebug! He will attach himself to you if possible or the mood is right. He loves holding you to his chest, wrapping his arms around you, setting his chin on top of your head. He's always the big spoon, or let's you lay on his chest and will rub your back.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?):
Out of all the members in the Thunder Legion, I think he'd be the second likely to settle down with a partner (right after Fried, I feel like Laxus and Evergreen would be 50/50 on the whole thing). He's not big on commitment right away, but he's loyal and wants to make his partner happy.
He's actually a decent cook and all the meals he makes have amazing flavor, he learned a lot of recipes while in the Circus and traveling. Cleaning, he's not the greatest, think of a teenage boys room (Fried refuses to go near it, swears he keeps it messy out of spite) but he'll immediately do better for you.
E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?):
Probably would be blunt and to the point. He's not going to waste your time or his. He'll try to cushion the break up with a joke or humor, but if the relationship is done, he's done too.
F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?):
He wouldn't want to get married early or quickly, he'd rather take his time having fun with you and going on adventures and taking you to his and your favorite spots. Although he'd know really early if he wants to be with you forever.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?):
I feel like he's actually very empathetic, and with his magic he can see others' emotions along with their souls. If he cares about you, he'll be gentle and emotionally present, much like he is with the Thunder Legion.
He likes wrapping his arms around you, if you're smaller than he is he'll put his chin on top of your head. He likes holding your hand and kissing it, kissing your forehead. He'll listen to you for hours and tone down his teasing if you're having a bad day. He'll do anything and everything to make you feel safe and comfortable.
H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?):
Again he is very affectionate and touchy (see second part of letter G above), he loves giving you hugs and really anyone he's close to, but they're more of squeezing or joking and friendly in nature. He has a vice grip, dude is like a snake but he won't hurt you maybe crack a few joints.
I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?):
He'd be absolutely shocked hearing those words come from either one of your mouths, and if he let it slip, He'd be holding in a laugh as his babies repeat the sentiment while bumping into you. Of course he loves you, and it would be something just slips out of his mouth casually or because he was rambling on about you.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?):
Although he's pretty carefree, I'd like to think he'd be pretty jealous if he liked you enough, it goes with him being kind of handsy with his partner. What's his is his, he's kinda like a big gaurd dog...or better, your personal Knight.
K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?):
Expect tongue! Seriously, be warry, that thing is always out!
But honestly, he's a sucker for romance. He likes grabbing your waste or cheeks and pulling you in for kisses, bonus points if he can pick you up and carry you, or place you on a counter or wall. He's passionate and a huge romantic. If he wants more or you pull away or walk away too soon, he'll pull you back to him.
L = Little ones (How are they around children?):
He's surprisingly good with children! He'll play with toys and make up stories, he'll do little tricks with his magic too. He's super active and flexible and will show the kids how to do somersaults and flips.
I like to imagine he grew up in a circus or something similar and just never lost that spirit of fun and crazy. He'd honestly be an amazing dad...so long as he can be serious for a few minutes of the day.
M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?):
Hopefully you're somewhat of a morning person because he's up early, he just never broke the habit of getting up early. Also he's nuts cause he doesn't need caffeine, he can just get up early. Who does that?
N = Night (How are nights spent with them?):
I'd like to imagine he's a morning person, so nights are pretty relaxing, but he is kind of a party-er. Like this man just has so much energy, except he crashes hard! He sleeps like a rock, and snores like a freight train. He'll often opt for a movie night and wrap an arm around you on the couch, or will let you lay in his lap and read a book while he holds you or runs his fingers across your skin.
O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?):
He kind of goes in chunks, one day he's super quiet, the next he doesn't stop talking. He loves sharing stories with you, rumors he's heard in the guild, drama with the Thunder Legion. He likes telling you stories about his life once he's comfortable with you, which will be fairly quickly. You'll quickly learn he isn't embarrassed by much.
P = Patience (How easily angered are they?):
He has the patience of a saint with you, but can be quick to anger when facing a difficult opponent. He'll also get fairly upset if someone is picking on you or harassing you. But he doesn't mind waiting a little longer in lines or giving up his spot to someone who needs it on trains.
Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?):
He remembers everything you say, little things, important things, likes and dislikes, a little exclamation you said in passing. He makes it his job. He wants to make you happy, keep you safe and protected. Sometimes he'll mention something you totally forgot you even said. He'll still forget what he had for breakfast though.
R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?):
He remembers when you first interacted with his babies, the way you were startled by them swarming you, but the way you quickly eased and calmed down, talking to them as if it was normal. They didn't exactly speak more than a few words or copied what he said or thought…and he was thinking quite a lot of things about you. The way you looked over at him, he remembers that look clear as day.
S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?):
God, he's your personal knight in shining armor. He would do anything and everything to make sure you're safe and healthy and taken care of. He can be a little over protective of you at times, especially when he knows the area or people are shady, but he wouldn't forgive himself if anything happened to you. He's scary when he wants needs to be.
Just take care of him and accept him for his emotions and past. All he wants is your loyalty and affection, and occasional forgiveness.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?):
He tries so hard and you can tell. He loves classic gifts like flowers and baked goods, and will also give you jewelry if you're into that. He'll attempt hand made gifts (asks Evergreen for help) for you like photo collages and little cards with poems. He can be corny but he loves little moments with you, and loves making your life easier.
Of course he knows you can handle things on your own, but He'll still pay for things, help you with heavy items or your bags, hold your hand, help you down stairs and hold open doors. He's kind of old fashioned but maybe that just goes with his aesthetic. Still he loves making you happy and smile and will go the extra mile with effort.
U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?):
He sticks his tongue out a lot, so sometimes he spits a bit, not on purpose it just happens. He also tends to smack people on the backs or shoulders out of excitement or he's teasing, that's mostly to friends though. He used to be a bit of a narcissist and masochist but that's gotten a lot better, and he hates when it's brought up because he's done a lot of growing since then.
V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?):
Not very, have you seen his hair? Plus he's always hiding his eyes and face under his helmet or visor. But, he still takes very good care of himself and his hygiene, and smells really good actually. He's quite handsome if you're lucky enough to see more than his chin.
W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?):
In a way yes, he's gotten to know you and your soul. If anything happened to you he would break down, probably put you into one of his babies, but it wouldn't be the same. He's a little clingy, but he just can't lose you. He forms strong bonds and those usually are for life.
X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.):
Again I like to imagine he grew up in a Circus, so he has a deep fascination with vintage and retro oddities. He collects old dolls and fabrics and books, maybe some posters or tapestries. He also loves knights and lives for a dark fantasy aesthetic. He's honestly just an oddball.
Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?):
They hate someone who's super uptight and bothered by fun. You've gotta be willing to loosen up and go with the flow. He loves fun and doing things on a whim. Also if you don't have basic respect for people and animals he'd hate you immediately, especially if you're rude to children and anyone who's working minimal wage jobs. He wants someone fun, kind, and willing to try new things, of course he won't push you out of your comfort zone with activities, just have an open mind.
Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?):
He sleeps like he's dead or snores like a freight train, it's a surprise every night. Check on him often, but be weary, sometimes he'll sit straight up and wake up and it will scare you.

Be prepared for endless teasing, like this man has probably one serious bone in his entire body so 99% of the time it's all jokes
But if you need him to be serious he can be
Being with Bickslow also requires dealing with his Babies so be aware of the constant echo that follows him around
And even if they are tools for his magic they still adore you almost as much as he does
You will also need to get along with the Thunder legion because if you guys aren't spending time just the two of you, you will definitely be around Freed and Evergreen a lot
But you shouldn't have to worry to much becuase as long as you respect him, the thunder legion won't really care
Also Evergreen will definitely threat Bickslow that if he ever hurts you, she will personally make him regret it
But Bickslow loves you to much to ever even think of bringing you harm, physically or emotionally

all in all being with Bickslow is an adventure, He's loud and a little crazy, but he's caring and Loyal so it out weighs his crazy

Gajeel does not care how strong you are or how muscular you look, as long as you are happy he’s happy.
He’s not the best with words so if you’re having a bad day he will first offer to do things with you
“Do you want to spar?” or “We could go out?” His goal is to try and get you out of your head by shifting your focus elsewhere.
If going to do something doesn’t work, be ready for physical affection
He will hug you like his life depends on it and if the hug doesn’t work he’s got back up plans
Back up plan number one, placing kisses to every part of your body that makes you feel insecure
Every kiss holds so much love that he hopes you understand just how much you mean to him
Back up plan number two, this is really his last ditch effort because again this man sucks at expressing things verbally
He will stumble over his words as he explains that he loves every single thing about you and how proud he is that you chose to work so hard to be exactly who you want to be
Gajeel over all is just a super caring guy, he’s just not the best at verbally explaining things so bare with him
Bickslow:
Bickslow definitely has his moments
He comes off as someone who can’t take anything seriously and so at first he may not realize when you’re having a hard time
His go to is making jokes and trying to lighten the mood, when that doesn’t work he’ll take moment to think
Once he realizes why you aren’t feeling the best he goes into straight comfort mode
Expect hugs and compliments, some compliments may be on the more suggestive side but he’s trying
Also expect his dolls to try and comfort you as well, mostly just floating closer to you and repeating Bickslow’s words of affirmation
Bickslow definitely takes a more silly approach at first, but be patient he’ll figure it out
Freed:
Freed is probably the most direct of the men on this list
He’s super observant so he would easily pick up on the fact that you aren’t feeling great
Instead of trying to reassure you through physical affection or sweet compliments, he’s more straight forward
He’ll tell you straight up that you are perfect the you are and being strong is nothing to feel bad about
He will also express how no matter what anyone else may say about your appearance you will always be perfect in his opinion
Again Freed is very direct and straightforward, but if his direct approach doesn’t work well he will fold and dish out kisses and hugs to help you feel better
Gray:
I think we can all agree Gray is also not great with his words
He would fumble over ways to make you feel better before settling on one of three plans
First plan, offer to spar and express how great it is to be on equal footing with you
Second plan, physical affection. Kisses and hugs that express his love for you
Third plan, words of encouragement. Directly complimenting you and how strong you are.
If he’s going with plan three he is definitely going to use Erza as an example, afterall she is the perfect example of a strong beautiful women
He’s not doing it to compare you to her but just to show you that you aren’t the only one and you don’t need to feel bad about being more muscular than others.
