This is the filter we use to purify our faucet water for drinking, mainly getting rid of the fluoride. This one in particular is called a big Berkey. There are several equivalents to choose from in the market. At night we fill the Berkey up with tapwater, overnight the water in the upper reservoir percolates through the filters and down into our drinking water reservoir. In the morning we fill the glass jars with our drinking water and refill the Berkey with tapwater. we have used it now for two years and it has done a great job for us. We have used a wooden wine crate offset from the wall to place the Water filter system on top. The wine crate also holds our glass jugs, and the wine crate situates the Berkey at a good height so that we and the children can easily access our drinking water.
