I'm gonna let you in on some positivity about a part of the dairy industry. So some context: I'm with my best friend and his family on the country side. There are cows by the house and later that day I saw the same cows about 10 min away from the house. Apparently they have a field and a big part of the woods to walk around in. Later that day the farmer who owns the cows came to get a cow who recently had a calf to keep them closer by to keep an eye on the new baby. I talked to him and he invited me to come to the farm and help heard the cows and then milk them after he noticed my interest in animals. It took us 15min to heard the cows to the barn since their walking space was so big. It made me so happy to see happy animals who get to walk around in big spaces and that the cows keep their calves. The video is when I saw the calves while their mothers got milked. ( the mooing is the bull btw) Sorry for the long post, just wanted to share a story of some happy, curious babies and their moms.
