Imagine being the smallest bot of the group. Orion, Elita, D-16 and B-127 towered over you most of the film, up until the gang gets cogged. Suddenly, the world feels smaller, and your companions gawk at how large the t-cog made you.
“A space shuttle.” You heard Alpha Trion say, though no one else was paying attention.
Bee was the first one to get all over you, using your arms as a jungle swing while he rapidly exclaimed in excitement, “OMGUOURESOTALLNOWSOCOOL–”
Orion was gobsmacked, he saw his short bot jokes go down the drain. He laughs nervously at your tall stature.
Elita was surprised at first, but she said nothing, simply crossing her arms while watching you with a calculating glance.
Last was D-16. That mech forgot his anger for a short moment to gawk at his now tall friend. He was simply speechless.
Three Years After the Events of Rise of the Guardians
The fairies buzzed as they flew around, they carried some cookies and others even carried coffee mugs. The elves were goofing off, pushing each other and walking under the boots of Santa Claus also known as North.
“Urgh,” he let out, lifting his mug and plate of cookies as he looked down. His brows furrowed and lips formed a frown. “Why are you always under boots?”
The whoosh of a fast flying being passed North making him look up and crack a smile. “Tooth!” He exclaimed, turning around to greet his friend. He held a big smile on his lips.
The Tooth Fairy skid to a stop in the air. She smiled—though she always is—and turned around in her flight. “Hi!” She let out, giggling as she flew closer. “Oh, I’m so glad we all agreed to this.”
She clasped her hands together, swaying from side to side as her wings flapped furiously. North let out a laugh, leaning back slightly. “I’m glad too. Although, Bunny didn’t seem so excited.” He said, leaning in close as if telling a secret.
“Hey,” the voice of Bunny said as he jumped up from the hole in the ground. The ground closed in on itself and the rabbit-sized-kangaroo gave the big man a look. “Some of us have work to do.”
North let out a big laugh, spreading his arms to the side, not being careful with the items he held. “Bunnymud!”
“No, no, no!” Bunny yelled, backing up as the big man dived in for a hug.
The laughter of another took Tooth’s attention from the pair. Her smile widened as she let her hands fall to her sides. Jack and Sandy both came in, flying next to each other in a race.
“Oh!” Tooth let out, flying up after she let out a chuckle. Both Sandy and Jack flew past her before crashing into the tables. The elves stumbled from their positions and one drops the cookie from his mouth.
“Hah-hah! Whoo!” Jack let out as he flew up. Sandy dusted himself with a smile, floating to the ground after helping an elf up. He smiled at Jack as he cheered. “That’s what I’m talking about! Who won?” He looked around then back down at Sandy.
Sandy shrugged, still smiling as he had plenty fun and didn’t mind who lost or won. “Ah, Sandy! Jack! So glad you could join us.” North said, hugging Bunny and squeezing him. The bunny grunted and groaned in annoyance.
Jack let out a chuckle at that, shaking his head as he leaned to his staff. “Put me down!” Bunny yelled, moving his dangling legs. North laughed and placed him down.
An elf grabbed the plate of cookies North dropped and ran off with them, his colorful tongue out. Another grabbed the coffee mug and drank it. His eyes dialing.
Jack lifted his head, looking around the room. “Love what you’ve done with the place, North.” He said, spinning his staff in his hand. When the staff hit the ground ice would jolt off from it. It hit a few elves who were chewing the ice sculptures.
Tooth agreed, flying up and touching the decorative pieces. “Yeah, they look so nice. My fairies love them!” She said as a few fairies swoon over a mini sculpture of Jack Frost.
Jack chuckled, shaking his head. His eyes landed on the moon and he furrowed his brows. “Uh…is the moon…?” He trialed off, narrowing his eyes as the moon shifted closer to the opening at the ceiling.
“Alright!” North clapped his hands making a few fairies snap out of their trance and others flinch and drop their items. “Let’s get this party started!” He laughed, moving to the huge table.
Jack snapped out of his thoughts and smiled, turning back to the others. The festivities went on. North thought it would be a good idea for all of them to celebrate once a year. To re-group and share stories of their time. And it would be a good change in pace.
As time went on, Jack wasn’t the only one who noticed the moon shifting closer. Sandy had noticed it too. He looked around the grand table with food for all. All of them were talking among themselves, eating, enjoying themselves. And yet, Sandy couldn’t help but think something was off.
He frowned, looking back up at the ceiling. The moonlight barely shined in. A few elves and fairies noticed it too. It was…as if Manny was trying to give them time to relax before giving them work.
Sandy huffed, puffing his cheeks before grabbing a cup of juice—or whatever he drank—and took a gulp.
The night went on until it couldn’t anymore. North turned his head and looked up. The moonlight was a little too evident for no one to notice. “Man in Moon?” He raised a brow, turning to look back at the others.
“What does he want now?” Bunny groaned making Tooth nudge him. He furrowed his brows as he looked at her.
The moon finally centered and started glowing. North gasped, jumping off the chair. “Manny! Old friend.” North greeted, spreading his arms before placing his hands to his hips. “Wanna join in the festivities?”
“I don’t think he can do that, North.” Bunny said sarcastically, a paw to his cheek as he reached for his drink.
The moon didn’t speak—he never did. Then, at the top—the balcony—where a square-diamond-rhombus with each point the image of the Guardians and at the center Jack’s image started to light up.
“What?” Bunny asked, lifting his head up with wide eyes.
“Oh?” North said, blinking at the balcony. Tooth flew up, hovering over the design. Jack and Sandy gave each other looks before flying up. North started to make his way up as well.
“Wait—but-but, we don’t have room for more!” Bunny said, going after them. He didn’t stop complaining until they all reached the top.
The center—where the ‘G’ used to be, now replaced with Jack’s figure—started to glow. Outline in a soft blue. The circle parted to reveal a glowing gem attacked to a rock. Jack gasped softly, his eyes widening, “Whoa.”
“Uh, guys,” Tooth called, looking to them as she flew side to side. A few fairies behind her. “Do you know what this means?” She questioned, just like she did three years ago.
Jack didn’t let his eyes off the gem. Was this how he was chosen? How they were all chosen? How did the first ever Guardian know he was chosen? Was it North?
“He’s choosing a new guardian.” North let out with wide eyes full of wonder.
“Another guardian won’t fit there!” Bunny argued, pointing at the design as he looked at North.
Said man started laughing, a hand to his belly. “Yes! Remodeling! Love it!” He let out, smiling widely down at the gem.
“Guys, shush!” Tooth said, flying in between them with a finger to her lips. “Look!”
“Urgh!” Bunny groaned, turning to the side as he crossed his fingers. “Please not the groundhog.”
“Ooh, maybe this time it’ll be the Leprechaun?” Tooth said, looking down at Sandy who shrugged. He thought for a moment before he beamed and a star shown on top of his head.
“Ooh, the Wish Spirit. Good one!” She beamed, a bright smile on her lips.
Dust and shimmer started to form above the blue gem. They all stared as the image started to form—all different expressions. A woman, holding a bow and ready to shoot. Quiver to her hip, arrows in forms of spade. Big wings attached to her back.
“Cupid.” North said after a beat. “Huh?” He scratched his beard, looking to the side in a thoughtful expression.
“Oooh! I love her wings!” Tooth said, flying closer to the image.
Sandy smiled, clapping his hands silently.
“Whoa,” Jack let out, he blinked before letting out a chuckle. His smile widening.
“Uh…” Bunny looked confused, looking down at his paws as he counted. “Wait…” he looked back up at the image, narrowing his eyes at the tall woman. “Which one?”
———————————————————————
“Urgh!” The woman let out, throwing her bow to the ground before sitting on a rock. A leg folded and the other dangling. She placed her elbow on her thigh, palm to her cheek.
“Oh, come on,” another winged person called, flying after her. “You’ll get chosen next time.” He tried to cheer her up. His wings flapped as he landed.
“Look, [n/n], I know it’s not easy but it took me 467 years to get chosen.” The woman winced, her shoulder tensing. The man deadpanned but, he let a smile grace his features once he heard her laughter.
She turned her head around, “Four…hundred…sixty-seven?”
“Yeah…” he chuckled nervously, looking to the side as he rubbed his neck. “But it was worth it!” He flapped his wings, landing in front of her. The girl turned her head to him with a slight smile.
“I was chosen and look!” He gestured to himself. He wore green clothing, his arrows a spade-shaped but green. What he wore mostly were different shades of green and silver. A shown to his status—brotherly love.
The woman smiled softly at him. She was about to speak, but a rustle made her perk up. She turned her head around and was about to call out when—Lucius—held her back by her arm and pulled her to a flight.
The woman widened her eyes and looked at him. Like his love status, he held a protective glint in his eyes. One only an older brother would have for their younger sister.
She looked back down and she gasped. She reached out—her bow left on the ground.
“Come on,” he pulled her up, making her wings react and start flapping. “We have to head back to Cupids Palace.”
He started flying up to the clouds, but the girl stopped. She huffed, narrows her eyes as she watched him fly. She shook her head and flew back, diving head first before spinning in the air.
She landed on the ground gracefully. She smiled, dusting her skirt. It had small spikes by the waistband. It moved as she turned around, looking for her bow. It wasn’t where she had left it, making her frown.
A Cupid only ever got one in their lifetime.
The woman grumbled, furrowing her brows in worry. From the bushes, Jack smirked, twirling the bow in his finger. “Lost something?”
The woman perked up, turning around to glance at the bushes. She narrows her eyes as they trialed around the greenery. A deer made of ice and frost walked out. [E/c] eyes widened at the sight. Her lips tugging into a smile.
She let out a chuckle, reaching her hand out as the deer walked closer. Her eyes were filled with amazement as she let out a soft gasp. The deer pressed its muzzle to her palm.
She brought her other hand to the underside of the deer’s muzzle. She cooed at it, bottom eyelid rising.
Jack chuckled at the interaction. She perked up again and looked around until her eyes fell on his deep blue ones. He smirked at her, titling his head. He was sitting with his back to the tree on a branch. His knee up with an arm draped over it, staff in hand. His other leg dangling off the branch.
“You know…” he said, his eyes trialing up and down at her. “You’re a little tacky.”
The girl jerked her head back with a scoff, her lips tugging into an amused smile. He rose a brow, lifting his free hand up and twirling the bow in his hand.
Her eyes widened as she pressed her lips together. She narrowed her eyes, irises darting to his. “What? You dropped it.” He said mindlessly, shrugging as his irises looked up.
She opens her mouth to say something but he beat her to it, “Well, more like tossed it.” He chuckled, looking down at her with a charming smile. He flew up, landing not far from her as he looked around the open area in the forest.
“I’m Jack Frost, by the way.” He said casually, swinging his staff to his shoulder and halting in his steps. He looked at her with a smirk. “Guardian of Fun.”
She stared at him, lips parted and eyes slightly wide. He nodded at her, “You must be Cupid? At least one of them.”
“Jack…” she let out, a smile tugging at her lips as she chuckled in disbelief. “Frost?” Her bottom eyelids rose to the point she closed her eyes. Turning her face to the deer who nuzzled close to her.
He rose a brow, titling his head as his smile faltered. She turned to look at him, her wings fluttering in excitement. She opened her mouth to speak, “…[Name]…” she let out finally. She smiled softly at him. “I’m [Name].”
“[Name]?” Jack said thoughtfully, as if he had heard that name before. He hummed, narrowing his eyes. He shook his head and smirked at her. “Pleasure to meet you, [Name].”
“Pleasures all mine.” [Name] said, nodding her head at him slowly. Her irises caught the deer’s empty ones. “Is this yours?” She asked, caressing the deer’s muzzle.
Jack chuckled, throwing the bow at her which made her turn quickly and grab it, “And this is yours.”
She smiled as she looked back at him. “What’s a Guardian doing here?”
Jack chuckled nervously, looking to the ground. He cleared his throat, his fist to his lips, before looking back at her. “The Moon has chosen you to be a Guardian.”
I'm not sure if this has been asked yet but can you do a fem!reader human who due to brainstorm is now the size of a regular bot. Mtmte please with Thunderclash, minis and who ever-else you feel like doing
I actually have a story where Reader grew big thanks to Brainstorm and in each different chapter, she goes and confesses to Bot of her dreams, one chapter belongs to Swerve, and they do the nasty. But I'll answer this with Thunderclash!
Thunderclash is so confused, he thought you were smaller the last time the two of you met. When you explain that it's all thanks to some little accident including Brainstorm's newest invention he is still a little confused.
He didn't know Brainstorm was that brilliant, but he isn't complaining. No, he smiles and takes your hand to gently kiss your knuckles and asks if you would do him honor of going out with him.
You can't even say no. Not when Thunderclash is being so charming, kind and top of all genuine about it? When you listened Rodimus talk about him you understood that Thunderclash would be egoistic and full of himself, but this mech was nothing like that.
So you agree to go out with him and you honestly have an amazing time. He takes you out to eat to this organic and Cybertronian friendly restaurant and holds the door open for you and pulls the chair back for you and goes all the way of being a perfect gentleman.
You thought he would only talk about himself if Rodimus was to be believed, but he asks about you, your family, Earth, and how you are feeling now thanks to your new height. He barely talks about himself but when you ask he asks if you really want to hear about his journeys and you nod happily.
After the dinner, he asks if you would like to go out for drinks and dancing. Agree or don't, he understands and takes you out or escorts you back to Lost Light. He won't leave you alone or abandon you, he sees you get back to Lost Light safely.
He will tell you how he had a good time with you, smiles and despite having grown as big as Cybertronian, you're still a couple heads shorter than Thunderclash so he pecks the top of your head and wishes you the good night before leaving.
You had a good time and you honestly wouldn't mind going out with him again.
One day you were minding your own business when suddenly everything goes horribly wrong and now you're gigantic.
This is all Brainstorms fault.

(Currently going through an updated rewrite!)
Hello! Thank you for coming in and reading this story! We appreciate having you here just as much as we hope you appreciate this wonderful trope-turned-story that we've set out to create.
This story is first and foremost written by PetiteLepus. Being as though english is not their native language and some things get lost in translation, I (Hanari) have offered to spruce up the fic and better translate their thoughts into a more novella type story format with Petite's permission.
I'll be rewriting chapters 1 through 5 over the course of the next month or so so please stick around as we go through some changes!
The Lost Light is a peculiar ship, you’ve come to realize. Peculiar in the sense that everyone on it was so erratically different that some days you questioned how the ship itself managed to function. Sure you had an entire small army of competent mechs on the ship, Ultra Magnus, Brainstorm, Rodimus (sometimes), Ratchet, the list goes on, but the quirky nature of the crew was endearing to you. And you, in your wholly non-cybertronian human body, seemed to fit right in, oddly enough.
As did your hamster, Stan. Currently he was running in his little wheel on the corner table of your habsuite. The tinny sound of the shaking exercise toy echoed off the walls, keeping a somewhat calm squeaking ambiance that you’ve all but become accustomed to. You sigh, giving him a nod from your spot on your bed where you were currently engrossed in a book you managed to find on one of your recent stops.
“Always running, eh?” You ask the little furball you’ve come to love. He doesn’t stop. You smirk. “You could probably run for captain’s seat at that rate, whaddya say? Captain Stan sounds pretty cool huh?”
He stops running at the sound of his name, curious to your call...and then runs from his wheel to his food dish.
You chuckle “Nah. You’re too much like me.”
You turn back to your book, plot-deep in a conspiracy romance you’ve been on edge about for twenty chapters now. The CEO protagonist just found out that his secretary quit her job, moved out to her old house in the middle of nowhere, all because she didn’t want him finding out that she was pregnant with his child. Surely if they just talked to each other this wouldn’t be this big of an issue, but engaging conflict isn’t built off of good communication. At least, not in a drama anyway.
You’re pulled from your immersion as your communicator’s high pitched bell goes off. You roll your eyes. You weren't in the mood to deal with anyone right now. You have this one day to yourself and you want to spend it reading, thank you very much. It could be anyone anyway, which meant it was probably not incredibly important. Unless it was. Unless it was Ultra Magnus calling, or Megatron, or Rodimus.
You grab it at the thought of the consequences you’d receive if you shirked off Megatron.
“You’re calling the Liason of The Lost Light. You’ve got thirty seconds to convince me not to hang up on you. Go.”
To your surprise, it’s Brainstorm that greets you on the other line.
‘Hey! ’Ive made the most glorious scientific discovery and I need your help’
“Really?” Your question is laced with sarcasm and false belief. Smart as he is, you're not sure about your specific presence as a requirement for any of his experiments.
‘Of course.' He continues 'Perceptor is too busy to see what I’ve made, so you must come over and help me out. After all, there is the possibility that I could have done something horribly wrong, and seeing as you’re our ship's liason, well….technically it’s your responsibility to stop me from doing anything dangerous . Of course, i’d never hold your position over you in any way shape or form in an attempt to bring you down to my lab. This is just, a friendly request for help. See you in a bit!’
His voice, which had been gaining speed and excitement as he talked, cuts off and the comm closes before you can even respond from your daze. The most you could catch were ‘help me out’ ‘Horribly wrong’ ‘Your responsibility’ and ‘Dangerous’
Another noise sounded from your phone as an after text of ‘bring ur tiny rodent ball’ flashed on the screen.
Well then.
Now you have this to deal with.
You scooped up your ‘tiny rodent ball’ and his cage and made your way over to your hover scooter, the last thing that brainstorm made for you in an attempt to make it easier for you to move around the ship. It helped, but knowing that he added several weapons features to it didn’t really keep you at ease. Considering the fact that The Lost Light spans about the same radius as New York City, it’s best to have a more mobile way of getting around. Especially when you were in danger on the floor. The hover scooter was a good idea. It would be better without the guns, but you’ll make do with what you have.
Looking at it now, technically you owed him a favor after he gave it to you anyway. This might be him trying to cash in on that.
By the time you made it to the lab you could see that Brainstorm was elbow deep in some experiment off to the side, consisting of vials and beakers and bottles hissing different coloured liquids. You’d at least expect him to have waited for you (or at the very least knew when you’d be getting there), but the thought is pushed aside as you remind yourself that Brainstorm’s science waits for no one.
You hover the bike up to the side of the counter. “You called?”
He yelps, startled, almost as if he’d forgotten he was expecting someone. Rude. Understandable, but still rude. His face lights up as he eyes the little cage in your arms.
“Oh! You came! Marvelous! Brilliant even!” He motions for you to come forward. “Now, take your little friend out for me and just hold it in front of you.”
You’re pretty skeptical of this entire ordeal as is. You’re even more skeptical when he pulls out some terrifying looking gun.
You pull the cage back. “No.”
“Please?”
“Absolutely not!”
“Pretty please?”
“Brainstorm what the hell is that.”
“It’s a gun for science. Trust me!”
“You can’t just use science as an excuse all the time.”
“This can help everyone on the ship. It’s beneficial to our very survival!”
“And you’re pointing it at my hamster?!”
“It’ll be fine! I’m not going to kill him, if that’s what you’re concerned about. I’m not even going to hurt him.”
You super didn’t believe him.
“Then what are you going to do to him?”
You could see him smiling behind his mask, eyes turning upwards in glee. You can’t imagine why. He winks at you. “It’s a secret. You’ll just have to see when I’m done.”
You frown. “Brainstorm, you must be out of your goddamn mind if you think I’m gonna let you shoot my hamster with a gun when I don’t know what it does.”
He rolls his eyes, needled at your refusal, no doubt. “I swear on my secret romantic interest that I won’t hurt it. Cross my spark.”
“Wasn’t aware you had one of those.” You sigh, clearly he’s not going to take no for an answer. “Fine. But if my hamster dies because of you I’m never speaking to you again and slandering your name across the ship.”
The mech’s glee returns in full force as you carefully remove Stan from his cage. He repositions the gun. “Great! I promise you’re going to be thrilled by this. Now just hold still.”
The next three seconds went by in an almost literal flash. Brainstorm firing the gun, Stan biting your hand and falling to the ground, and the inevitable rush of heat as you realize very quickly that your shirt is choking you. Actually, all of your clothes felt a little tight. Were they getting tighter? Did Brainstorm make a gun that destroyed fabric? In a matter of seconds you felt your clothes shred to pieces as they seemed to get smaller on you, embedding lines in your skin as they all but ripped off of your body. You look down to find that hey, you’re naked now, and the frayed fabric of your clothes looked very small indeed.
Fuck this
“Brainstorm I’m gonna k-ow fuck!”
You move to look up at him but your head collides with the bottom of something flat and hard, obscuring your vision. You find by the cylinder in the middle that your forehead just became acquainted with the underside of Brainstorm’s worktable.
So.
Your clothes didn’t get smaller.
You have apparently grown.
“Well. Not exactly the result I wanted, personally, but still a plus!” You see Brainstorm peek under the table at you as you quickly cover yourself, face red in embarrassment and quickly building rage. “I mean, this technically isn’t the first time I’ve had a gigantic naked human in my lab, but I digress.”
Double fuck this.
“Brainstorm, get me something to wear or I’m going to rip your fucking faceplate off with my bare hands.”
“Right. Yes. Absolutely.” You watch him rush off out of the room in what you sincerely hope is an attempt to find you something decent to cover up with.
It takes you a moment to stand, and another moment to look down at yourself, and then the surrounding area and realize that the perspective is throwing you off. This is how big the bots are? This is the altitude they see things at? No wonder they’re always so careful with you. From up here you could easily crush another human. Or your hamster.
Holy shit your hamster.
You look under the table to see that Stan is blessedly unharmed, and right back in his hamster cage on his wheel. You take your pinky finger and carefully close the gate on the cage and pick him up, placing him on the table. “Lucky hamster.” You chide him, as if this was his fault. It technically is. “Very very lucky hamster you are Stanley.”
“Ahem.”
You glare at the blue asshole as he walks back in, some kind of sheet wrapped over his arm.
“Now, understandably, we don’t have any gigantic human clothes on the ship, but I found this.” He held it out to you, which you quickly wrapped around yourself like a towel. It was just long enough to cover everything important.
Your voice is less than pleased and your quipped thank you does nothing to break his reverie.
“So!" He starts, circling you like some easily exciteable toddler. "There’s a number of things we could do now, though you probably want to take a shower or something. Yes? No? No then. We could eat dinner. You’re probably hungry after going through a transformation like that. Or I could run some quick tests now that you’re-”
“I’m going to kill you.”
“Medbay it is then!”
You had to tell Rodimus and Megatron. That much was a given. They were the co-captains and it was their job to know of anything ridiculous or dangerous that was happening on the ship. Naturally, you’d expect the two of them to be in the Medbay after Brainstorm commed them. What you didn’t expect was the small entourage the two brought with them. Ratchet and First Aid being in the medbay was understandable. Ultra Magnus and Perceptor being there, however, was not.
“I thought he’d like to see this.” was Brainstorm’s excuse for having the other scientist there.
If it wasn’t for Ratchet’s professionalism you’d probably have melted in self-loathing and embarrassment at this point.
“Well, the good news is that nothing has changed.” The good doctor starts “Aside from an obvious increase in mass and cell count, your vitals and reflexes are just fine and your body temperature is exactly what it should be for a human. From what I can see there seem to be no negative side effects of the gun. But that doesn’t mean I’m not angry about this.” The last part was directed, quite pointedly, at Brainstorm.
The blue seeker held up a finger. “In my defense, I was aiming for the hamster.”
“It doesn’t matter what you were aiming for!” The medic glares at him. “Hamster or human, conducting biological transformation experiments on anyone on this ship without notifying either medic could have had devastating consequences. You’re lucky she didn’t die.”
Rodimus strode forward. “Forget the medics. You should have at least told me about what you were doing. I would have loved to see a gigantic hamster. Though this isn't a bad second place.”
“Really?” You stare at him incredulously. “This isn’t bad? Me being about, oh I dunno, fifty times my size isn’t a bad thing? I can’t fit into any of my clothes Rodimus.”
He rolled his eyes “Just make bigger clothes!”
Megatron cleared his throat, bringing the full attention of everyone in the room to him. “I believe what Rodimus is trying to say is that it’s a blessing you’re still with us after the ordeal. We'll do what we can to get you back to normal.”
“And if we can’t, we’ll do everything to make sure that you’re happy and healthy with this new bigger size.” First Aid offered. You can tell he was trying to be positive about it, but you still weren’t happy. He took this up quickly. “But uh….we can reverse it, right?”
Brainstorm scoffed. “Of course I made a way to reverse the effects. What am I, an amateur? Of course, I haven’t tested it on organics yet, but knowing my work it should be just fine.”
This answer seemed to placate Rodimus, who clasped his hands together. “Great! We’ll just shoot her with a new gun and make her smaller. Problem solved. Let’s hurry this up then, we’ve got a quest to get back to.”
“Absolutely not!” Ratchet moved to stand in front of you. “You are not shooting her with an untested prototype . She survived this time, but who’s to say that it could go wrong and end up killing her the next?”
“The possibility of it shrinking selected body parts as opposed to her whole body is a threat.” Perceptor chimes in, clearly unamused by the situation his colleague ended up creating. “There’s also a chance of it malfunctioning and potentially evaporating her.”
You raise your hand in agreement “Yeah, I would like to live, personally.”
Ultra Magnus, who has been unusually quiet this whole time, steps forward. “Are there any other organics you could test the gun on?”
“Oh yeah, hundreds.” Brainstorm offers. “Living sentient ones though? We don’t have very many of those on the ship. I have plenty of plants I could test it on, but the only other living creature I could try it on is the hamster, and at that point he would be too small for any of us to see.”
“So basically, I’m gigantic, and we have no way to bring me back down to regular size.” You cover your face with your hands and take a deep breath. A much needed deep breath. Then the rage sets in. “.....Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME !!!”
All the mechs flinch at your outburst, clearly not used to your voice being so loud. Or so angry. Brainstorm, in all of his glory, not-so-subtly stands half behind Perceptor in an attempt to shield himself from your rage.
It won’t work.
You stand up from the table and stalk towards him, balling your fists in pure, undiluted fury. “What the hell made you think that this was a good idea! What in gods name could have possibly gone through your head to think ‘oh, let’s shoot this tiny hamster and make him big. Nothing could possibly go wrong’. FIRST of all, hamsters are omnivores. Not to mention he’s a Syrian Dwarf Hamster. They’re aggressive and they eat other hamsters. He could have fucking eaten me at any given moment if he were to get this big.”
Rodimus grimaced. “Y’know, hearing that makes me think that’s a horrible pet to have.”
One glare from you shut him up right quick. His afterthought of ‘at least he’s cute’ did nothing to sate your ire.
Brainstorm, thinking he was safe from you, took the opportunity to step out from around Perceptor. Big mistake. Your hand finds his neck real quick as you pull him towards you.
“You are going to fix this .” You threaten him, squeezing, to the surprise of everyone in the room. “You are not going to let that gun near anybody else on the ship. You’re going to make sure that you don’t turn any other living beings into giants. You’re going to give the gun to me and I’m going to hold onto it, and you’re going to work on reversing this or I’m going to make your life a living goddamn nightmare. Do I make myself clear?”
He seems to swallow, and then nods, slowly handing over the gun to you. “Crystal.”
“Good.” You take it from him and release his neck, addressing the room “I’m going to go make my clothes bigger, and then I’m going to Swerves because I need a fucking drink. Nobody bother me.”
You leave without waiting for a response.
You pass by a handful of other mechs on your way back to your room, sparing none of them glances. If they have anything to say about your new appearance, they can say it later. When you’re less stressed and pissed off about the situation. Part of you realizes that you left Stan back in Ratchet’s medbay, but knowing who he’ll be surrounded by you don’t give it a second thought.
You do, however, make it back to your habsuite with no incident. You wait until your door closes behind you to slump against it, dropping the gun as you slowly slide down the door. It’s not the worst thing that could have happened to you. You haven’t been maimed or bruised or left for dead by the raygun, but all of the combined negative emotions from the last few hours or so finally have a place to go.
A choked sob bubbles up in your throat as you hit the floor and cry.
