Anthonyplopped down on the sofa, practically draped himself over the big man’s thigh,and rested his head on Thor’s shoulder. “Perfect. Don’t move.”

Maybe Anthony had taken witchcraftlessons from Loki, since Thor was, in fact, getting ready to shift over. Heknew he took up more space than he used to. Thor had always been a giant amongmen and Asgardians alike. And now he was almost as wide as he was tall.

Thor knew it. It wasn’t like hecould see himself in a mirror. 

Despite that, a lot of people haddared to mention it. Like he wasn’t aware of his own fatness, that it hadsomehow escaped his notice.

Sometimes it did. Thor could drinkenough, eat enough, play enough video games, watch enough movies to forget, fora little while, that he was no longer perfect, beautiful. Desirable. 

But mostly, it was a low backgroundnoise in everything that he did, everything that he was. He used to be God ofThunder, son of Odin-- now, he was Fat Thor.

Which meant he took up too muchspace, and he was going to try to squish over to make room for Anthony.

Who was sprawled all over him likea genius kitten. “I can sit somewhere else,” Thor offered. “If you would be morecomfortable?”

“This is comfy,” Anthony said. Hepulled his tablet out, flicked a display into the air and started poking at it.“Unless I’m in your way.”

“Not at all,” Thor said. “I amwatching this very interesting show.”

“Yeah?” Anthony looked over. “Oh,Stargate:SG1, I loved this show.” He poked his design a few more times, thenrolled over until he was laying with his head in Thor’s lap. “Mind if I watchwith you?”

“I never mind spending time withyou, Anthony,” Thor said. “If you do not--” He gestured to his… well,everything.

“We’re good, big guy,” Anthonysaid. “Just perfect.”
