For once in my life I understand what my friends have been trying to tell me. I am beautiful and I’m worthy of love. I don’t need to be a specific body size or have a specific personality to be loved. I’m big and I’m loud and that’s okay. One day somebody will see me and say “Where have you been all my life?” One day someone will see me and love me for me and won’t want to change my looks or my personality. They will love me and help me and be there for me and I for them. It’s okay to wait. I’m 18 and haven’t been kissed, haven’t been on a date, and haven’t really experienced anything close to those, but that’s okay, it’s more than okay. Because that means I just haven’t met my person who will love me and care for me for being me. Yes I know it’s kinda crazy I’m just now seeing this but you know things take time. I have always been insecure and honestly that probably won’t stop but I need to keep in mind that I am beautiful and I am worthy. It’s okay to be alone and it’s okay to be happy with yourself and it’s okay to be crazy sometimes. Someone will love me for me one day and if that day isn’t today that is perfectly alright because it will happen I have hope and confidence.
