summary: your periods are never easy to deal with, but luckily jiyong is always there to help you through them
warnings: mention/description of periods, physical symptoms (nausea and cramps), and tooth rotting fluff!
a/n: this is lowkey doodoo but i just wanted to crank something out while i had some motivation to write. also this may or may not be just a tad bit self indulgent so it’s not proofread!
You were sure this was what hell must feel like.
You had woken up from your deep slumber to a sensation that you had grown to hate and knew that you would be in for a world of pain today.
It was currently the second day of your period and you felt like you were one step closer to deaths door with each passing second. Between the unbearable pain residing in your abdomen and the nausea that came with it, it was a fair assessment to make. Your periods hadn't always been this bad up until a few years ago. The once dull aches you had taken for granted all those years ago were now replaced with sharp and intense stabbing pains. In short, your insides were trying to become your outsides. More often than not, you would be writhing in pain from how painful your cramps were. Today was no exception. Despite this, you wanted to at least try to get some more sleep before you had to go into work later in the morning. However, no matter many times you rolled over in an attempt to make yourself comfortable, you were unable to fall into a deep sleep.
At this point, you had given up and resorted to curling up into a ball as you clutched your stomach and could only pray for the pain to subside sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, you weren't prepared for the next sharp pain that would soon hit you like a pile of bricks. Before you knew it, you were writhing in pain once more. You had begun to sweat and shake uncontrollably against your own will, which only made what you were feeling even more intense. At this point, you had started panting out of agony with no signs of stopping anytime soon. Sure, you had terrible stomach cramps before, but this felt like a torture ritual. You just wanted it to stop.
Unbeknownst to you, your boyfriends' eyes had slowly started to flutter open as a result of him being a moderately light sleeper and because of how restless you were. You were only alerted to him being awake when he let out a light grumble out of nowhere. As he reached his arms out to wrap them around your waist, he was more than just a little confused when you were out of his reach after spooning one another almost all night long.
With each passing second, his beautiful brown eyes started to get adjusted to the golden light that was peeking through the curtains in your guys' room. As they finally adjusted enough to see you curled up in a ball like one of his cats, he slowly sat up until he was now leaning over you with a look of concern on his face.
"What's wrong, jagiya?" he asked softly but also with a tinge of concern.
"It hurts Ji..." you said with a shaky voice as you clutched at your stomach harder.
That's when it hit him. You were on the second day of your period.
How could he forget? He knew how bad your periods could get, especially when it came to your cramps. He had seen you in this state many times before and yet it still made his heart drop every single time. He hated seeing you in so much pain especially knowing that he could only do so much to ease your pain. All he knew is that you needed him right now.
"Hey hey...it's gonna be okay, I promise," he says as he begins to rub gentle circles on your stomach with his fingers in an attempt to ease some of your pain.
"I-I'm sorry for waking you up, Ji..." you say, your voice now trembling with guilt.
"You have nothing to be sorry for baby. I'm gonna be here for you every step of the way," Jiyong reassures you before pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. "Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back."
With that, he gets off the bed and heads straight to the bathroom. Shortly after doing so, you can hear the faint sound of the water running in the bathtub along with his footsteps moving across the marble floor. A few more minutes pass by before the water stops flowing to which he finally comes back to the bedroom and walks over to your side of the bed.
"Alright, I just finished drawing up the bathtub for you, aein," Jiyong says softly.
"I don't know if I can get up," you say knowing how bad your cramps flare up when you try moving.
"Well luckily for you, you have a doting boyfriend right here that's willing to carry you," he says with a chuckle.
Before you can even respond to his words, he scoops you up into his arms like it was nothing and carries you into the bathroom, making sure you land swiftly on your feet.
"Arms up f'me..." he says ever so softly. You follow his instructions and before you know it, he peels your sweater off of you before letting it hit the floor. The rest of your clothes meet the same fate before it's time for you to get in the bathtub. And of course, with Jiyong being Jiyong, he makes sure you get into the tub safely.
As soon as your skin makes contact with the rather warm water, you let out a sigh of relief and comfort. This was exactly what you needed and Ji knew that.
"Is the water too cold or too hot?" he asks, making sure everything was perfect for a perfect girl like you.
"It's just right, but thank you for asking anyways," you say with a smile.
"Ya! There's that smile I love so much," Jiyong says with that infamous toothy grin of his.
"All because of you, silly," you say jokingly.
"Don't start thanking me yet, baby. You haven't seen anything yet," he warns with no malice intent behind his words but rather an intent to fulfill a promise he had made to both himself and you. He presses a soft kiss to your lips to which you lean into. It's neither a hungry nor greedy kiss, but rather a kiss filled with soft passion and promises. Between the warm water and the kiss, you can feel your troubles float away with each passing second. It felt like you guys were the only two people left on earth and you wanted it to stay that way forever.
A few seconds pass before he pulls away from the kiss, earning a half faux frown from you. "What'd you do that for?" you ask him.
"These errands aren't gonna run themselves, sweetheart," Jiyong says with a grin on his face. "I'll be right back I promise. You just stay here and relax, okay?"
"Okay Ji," you say with a faint smile.
"Atta girl. I'll be back before you know it, pretty girl," he replies before inching back towards you and kissing you once more on your cheek.
"Sounds like a plan," you giggle.
And with that, he was off to run errands like it was his full time job.
It had been about 20 or so minutes since Jiyong left the apartment by now. The bath he had started for you did wonders for your achy muscles and stomach pain, which was more than you could've asked for from the universe. There were however some dull pains that resided in your abdomen, but if it was between that and unbearable pain, you would gladly take this dull pain any day. Your eyes were now closed, trying to make the most out of the bath before the water got cold or before Jiyong returned home--whichever came first.
You were too lost in your own little world to even register the sound of the front door opening and shutting within a matter of seconds. You didn't even register the sound of footsteps making their way toward the bathroom until Jiyong opened the bathroom door. Your head jerked up in response and locked eyes with Jiyong as he was standing there while holding various articles of clothing in his hands.
"Hey there beautiful," he says with the most adorable smile plastered on his face as he looked at you with lovesick eyes.
"Hey," you said softly as you reciprocated the smile he gave you.
"How're you feeling?" Jiyong asks.
"I'm feeling a lot better, but my cramps are still there," you reply.
"Do you want to stay in the bath for a bit longer then?" Jiyong asks intuitively.
"I think this bath has worked all the miracles it can for one day. Besides, the water is kinda cold now and I don't want to look like a prune," you joke with a stifled laugh.
"Well prune or not, I still love you," he says with a stupid cheeky grin on his face. He was enjoying this too much.
"You're such a dork Kwon Jiyong," you say with a faux scoff.
"Yeah, but I'm your dork," he chides playfully before setting the clothes aside on the bathroom counter. "Now let's get you out of here, jagi."
Before you could respond to his playful banter once more, he slowly puts one of his hands forward while the other rests on your shoulder blade. You reach for his hand before enveloping it entirely with your own and slowly get up with the support of his hand on your back.
"I got you...I got you," he coos reassuringly. Once you're fully standing up in the bathtub, he makes sure to assist you even more on the way out in order to avoid the possibility of having you fall down in any way, shape, or form.
"You okay?" he asks with a concerned look in his eyes at to which you nod. "Okay just checking," he says before exhaling out of relief. "Lemme get a towel."
Jiyong walks over to the rack of towels and picks up the fluffiest towel he can find for you before securely wrapping it around your frame and kisses your neck in the same breath. You can't help but adoringly look into his eyes like it was nothing. This was a man who had gone above and beyond for you without any hesitation and would do it time and time again. The thought of it alone was enough to make you question what you had done in this life or a previous life to deserve a man like this. A man who put you first. A man who looked at you like you hung the stars themselves. That was the final straw. Before you know it, you can start to feel the tears spilling from your eyes, a silent sob escaping your lips.
Of course, Jiyong is attentive enough to notice the tears streaming down your face which is enough for him to grow worried. "Hey hey hey...what's wrong, jagi?" he asks as he wipes your tears with the pads of his fingers.
"'S nothing...just my stupid hormones," you say in an attempt to hide the real nature of his tears, but you knew that Jiyong would see through it. He knew you too well.
"They're anything but stupid. They're natural to have. Just tell me what's on your mind, sweetheart. I pinky promise I won't judge," he says in a soft tone. You let out a shaky exhale at his words, hoping you wouldn't make a fool of yourself in front of the man you loved.
"I-I just don't know what I did to deserve you, Ji. You've always taken such good care of me and I can't help but feel guilty about it sometimes," you admit.
"Jagi, you have nothing to feel guilty about, okay? Not with me. I take care of you because I want to. You've given me the world and I can't thank you enough for that, which is why I want to make sure you know how much I love you every day for the rest of our lives," Jiyong says in the gentlest tone possible.
Somehow, his words seem to shake something inside your heart and you can't help but shed even more tears in the process. Without hesitation, Jiyong wraps his arms around you to envelope you in a warm hug you didn't know you needed until now. Your head is now buried in the crook of his neck as you silently sob against his body, which he can feel. He takes the opportunity to move one of his hands to your head, now rubbing it in an attempt to soothe you.
"I love you so much, Ji," you manage to croak.
"I love you more jagi...more than you'll ever know," Jiyong coos.
The two of you stay in the moment for a while longer before you finally unbury your head from his neck, hesitating to look at him with tear stains adorning your face.
"Look at me sweetie," Jiyong says with no authoritative tone in his voice but rather wrapped in warmth. You slowly lift your head up and meet his pure gaze. "I meant every word I said and always will. You have me forever."
"You're not supposed to make me cry again, dork," you say as you playfully hit his shoulder and let out a weak but lighthearted chuckle.
"I missed hearing your laugh," he admits with a smile.
"Take that up with the universe when it decided to give me cramps from hell," you joke back.
"Maybe I will later, but right now let's focus on getting you dressed so you can see the surprise waiting for you," he says mischeviously.
"You're a man of many wonders, Kwon Jiyong," you say with a laugh.
"Damn right and don't you forget it."
A few minutes had passed by and now you were fully dressed in the comfiest clothes known to man--courtesy of Jiyong's closet, of course. He let you wear your favorite hoodie of his that you had stolen on countless occasions along with a pair of fresh underwear that had been donned as your go-to period panties. To top it all off, he even lent you a pair of his baggiest sweats that swallowed you whole, but you couldn't complain about it knowing how bloated your period made you.
There was still one more surprise waiting for you on the bed, but of course Jiyong had to go over the top with it all and made you swear that you would let him walk you to the bedroom with his hands over your eyes, which you gave into after his countless protests. You would be lying if you said you didn't find it cute in the slightest.
As promised, you let him slowly lead you over to the bed, the anticipation growing rapidly. What could he possibly have done now that required this much build up?
"Alright jagi, you ready to see?" Jiyong asks you out of curiosity which earns an eager nod from you.
"Okay...you can open them," he says before uncovering your eyes with his hands and waits for your eyes to flutter open.
Upon his approval, you open your eyes and are met with a basket that is filled to the brim with an assortment of items. You take a second to survey what's inside which is what makes your heart swell shortly after. Inside the basket were all of your favorite things along with some miscellaneous 'just because' gifts--your favorite chocolate, chips, aspirin, a cute cat stuffed animal, and a card attached to the front of the basket. You named it, it was there.
And just like that, you felt your heartstrings tighten all while tears were threatening to escape your eyes once more. Not only did he remember all of your favorite things, but he also took the time and put in the effort to curate such a thoughtful gift that would make you feel better in more ways than one. He did all of that without you asking. Between the bath he ran you earlier and the gift basket that he had just surprised you with, it was enough to make your hormones go into overdrive again.
"So what do you think, jagi?" he asks.
You don't answer him right away. You're still in awe, disbelief, and most of all? An emotional wreck. You try to regain any sense of composure, but it's useless when all of your emotions are betraying you in the process. Slowly but surely, you turn to face him.
"I think I have a boyfriend who likes seeing me cry," you let out before tears prick your eyes.
"So I assume you like it?" he inquires as a joke.
"I don't just like it...I love it, you idiot," you say.
"I'm glad to hear it, jagi. I just hate seeing you in pain and I wanted to help you in any way I could," he says before wiping your tears away, almost feeling guilty.
"Just being with you is enough to make my pain go away, Ji. You always know how to make me feel better without even meaning to," you say ever so softly.
"You're my everything which is why I want to make sure I give you everything," Jiyong says.
"You have. You've given me everything and more," you say, your voice full of conviction.
"Like I said earlier, I'll make it my life's goal to make you happy every single day," he reassures you.
"Does that mean we can watch some Netflix then?" you ask him with a childlike smile, knowing that it was his weakness.
"Will that make my girl happy?" Jiyong teases.
"Very," you respond half-jokingly.
Out of nowhere, he picks you up and sets you down on the bed before settling into bed as well. He reaches for the tv remote on the nightstand before turning it on and opening Netflix. "Anything that makes my girl happy makes me happy," he says before pressing a kiss to your lips. "Pick your poison"
"Hmmm...let's go for One Piece," you say.
"I knew I loved you for a reason, jagi," Jiyong says with a toothy smile, no ill intent behind his words. "C'mere," he says in an attempt to pull you closer to him. You let out a giggle and scooted closer to him. Before you knew it, he wrapped his arm around the back of your neck and leaned into you like a sloth would with a tree while his free hand was being used to click the 'play' button on the remote.
Within seconds, the sound of the One Piece theme song filled the room and time seemed to slow down. There was no outside world as far as the two of you were concerned. Everything you guys needed was right here: cozy blankets, snacks, and most importantly--each other.
It was safe to say that both of you were exactly where you wanted to be and nothing would ever change that.
Summery: It’s August 18th, and the cozy apartment is filled with the scent of vanilla. For four months, you’ve been carrying a tiny secret, and today is the day your husband, Jiyong, finally gets to find out the gender. He thinks he is just blowing out his birthday candles, but the colorful surprise waiting inside the cake is about to be the greatest gift he has ever received.

The paper lining the examination table gave a soft, familiar crinkle every time you shifted your weight. You swung your legs gently, your fingers resting lightly over the small, gentle curve of your four-month pregnant belly beneath your oversized fleece sweater. The room smelled faintly of antiseptic and clean linen, but the anxiety that usually accompanied medical offices was entirely absent today. Instead, your chest felt tight with pure anticipation. Today was August 18th—Jiyong’s birthday—and the best ultrasound image of your life was currently sitting in a digital file, waiting to be unlocked.
You looked up as the door clicked open, and Dr. Cho walked in with a warm smile, holding a sleek silver tablet.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," she said softly, sitting at her desk and tapping the screen. "Your vitals look absolutely perfect, and the bloodwork from last week confirms everything is beautifully on track. You’re doing a wonderful job taking care of yourself."
"Thank you," you breathed. "And... the gender?''
Dr. Cho chuckled, her eyes crinkling. "Yes, I have that right here. I know you requested a sealed envelope for the bakery, but since you changed your mind a phew days ago I am more than happy to be the one to tell you." She turned the screen slightly toward herself, tapping a final document. She looked up, her expression softening "Congratulations. You are having a healthy, beautiful little girl."
A involuntary gasp escaped your lips, and your hands instantly cupped the bottom of your stomach. A girl. A tiny, perfect miniature version of the man you loved, or perhaps a little girl with your eyes and his fierce, creative spirit. The sheer reality of it washed over you in a warm, tingling wave of emotion. Tears pricked the corners of your eyes, blurring the cheerful posters on the clinic wall.
"A girl," you whispered, the words tasting like magic on your tongue. "Jiyong is going to absolutely lose his mind."
"He's going to be wrapped around her little finger before she even takes her first breath," Dr. Cho agreed, handing you the sonogram pictures. "Here is a fresh look at your daughter. Go celebrate with that husband of yours."
Minutes later, you were already out the door clutching the ultrasound picture safely in your purse when suddenly your phone buzzed in your jacket pocket. Pulling it out, you saw Jiyong’s name flash across the screen, accompanied by a little heart emoji.
“Just woke up, jagiya. The house is too quiet without you. Where did you run off to so early on my birthday?”
Smiling to yourself, you typed back. “Just running a very important birthday errand! I’ll be home in an hour. Don’t touch the kitchen, and don't look in the fridge!”
Your next stop was the small, boutique bakery three blocks away. The baker, a sweet elderly woman who had crafted your wedding cake years prior, was already waiting for you near the counter. On the immaculate stainless-steel table sat a small, round, vintage-style lambeth cake.
It was frosted in a flawless, velvety pink-colored vanilla buttercream, decorated with delicate tiny dots on top. And finally, written in elegant glossy chocolate script, were the words: Happy Birthday, Appa
"Did the doctor call you with the news?" you asked, your voice bubbling with excitement.
"She did, right before you walked in," the baker beamed, carefully lifting the top of the box where the caked sat. "A little princess. It’s perfect. Now, let’s hide the secret."
You watched with bated breath as she skillfully piped a generous, thick layer of the bright pink cream directly into the hollowed-out center of the vanilla sponge layers. Once the secret was safely tucked inside, she sealed the top layer with a final crumb coat, smoothing over the frosting until the cake looked completely innocent and uniform from the outside
She carefully lowered the masterpiece into a sturdy white pastry box, tying it off with a thick, rustic twine bow. "There you go, dear. Have a beautiful evening."
With a respectful bow you said your goodbyes to the baker.
Driving home, the cake sat securely on the passenger seat, buckled in with the seatbelt as if it were the most fragile treasure on earth. The autumn sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting a warm, golden-orange glow over the city streets. By the time you unlocked the front door of your apartment, the soft, ambient lighting of the living room was already casting long, cozy shadows across the hardwood floors.
The apartment was quiet, filled with the comforting, familiar scent of Jiyong’s favorite sandalwood incense mixed with the faint aroma of the scented candles you had lit earlier that morning. You kicked off your shoes and padded softly into the kitchen, carefully sliding the cake box into the very back of the refrigerator, hiding it behind a tall carton of milk just in case.
"Jagi?"
The deep, sleep-raspy voice echoed from the hallway, sending a familiar flutter through your chest. You turned around just as Jiyong stepped into the kitchen. His dark hair was a messy, adorable bedhead, sticking up in random directions He looked incredibly soft, entirely stripped of the fierce, untouchable "G-Dragon" persona the world knew. Right now, he was just your husband, blinking sleepily in the kitchen light.
He didn't say another word before walking straight into your space, wrapping his long arms securely around your waist and burying his face into the crook of your neck.
"You were gone too long," he mumbled, his voice muffled against your shoulder.
His warm hands slid down from your waist, instinctively finding their way to your lower abdomen, his palms resting flat against the cozy fabric of your sweater. He began to rub slow, soothing circles over your four-month bump, his touch incredibly gentle, as if he were holding a fragile glass ornament. "Did you feel okay today? Did the baby behave while I was asleep?"
You smiled, melting into his embrace and resting your hands over his. "We feel perfect. The baby was very good today, Jiyongie. Happy birthday, my love. I have a lot planned for today!''
"Having you two here is the only present I need. I don't care about anything else."
"Well, too bad," you giggled ''I have a treat, just for you''
Jiyong raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes, "A treat? Can I have a sneak peek?"
"Absolutely not," you laughed "You have to wait until after dinner.''
He chuckled, giving your forehead a lingering kiss that smelled like mint and warmth.
You had barely picked up a wooden cutting board when his husband instinct's kicked in.
''Yah! Jagi why are you doing? You've been on your feet all day''
"Jiyongie, it’s just a few vegetables. And t's your birthday. I'm supposed to be cooking for you."
"The best birthday gift you can give me is resting," he replied smoothy.
He kissed your temple gently. "Sit. Watch your husband work."
You couldn't help the fond, blooming warmth in your chest as you watched him carefully wash and slice the ingredients. For a man who could command stadiums of tens of thousands of screaming fans, watching him meticulously cut mushrooms into perfectly even slices just so you wouldn't have to lift a finger was incredibly endearing.
Every time you made even the slightest movement to get up—whether it was to reach for a glass of water or grab a napkin—Jiyong would instantly look up.
"Ah, ah, ah," he wagged a finger at you. "Tell me what you need, and I'll get it.''
"You are going to completely spoil me before this baby even gets here," you teased.
Jiyong smiled & leaned down placing his warm palm flat against your four-month bump, bending his knees so his face was level with your stomach.
"Hear that, little one? I'm going to spoil your Eomma and then I'm going to spoil you''
His voice dropped into a sweet melodic coo that made you giggle. He pressed a soft kiss right through the fabric of your shirt before standing back up, looking entirely satisfied with himself.
Once dinner was ready, it a quiet blissful affair. Despite it being his birthday, he set the table, served the food & even cleaned up afterwords.
But this was nothing new.
Before you were bringing a little life into this world, before you had a ring in your finger, back when you were two teenagers in love...he was always this caring. Which made you love him and more every day.
The sky outside eventually turned into a deep starry indigo night and after dinner was cleaned up, you both were curled up together on the sofa. Jiyong sat back, pulling you flush against his chest so your back was resting against him, his long legs framing yours. He began to rhythmically stroke his thumbs across your belly, a habit he had developed the very week you found out you were pregnant.
"Are you warm enough?" he muttered against your hair.
"Jiyong, I am perfectly warm, and incredibly stuffed.'' you said, turning your head slightly to press a kiss to his jawline. "You've been fussing over me all day. You're going to make an amazing appa, you know that?"
You felt his grip tighten against you.
"I just want everything to be perfect for you two. Sometimes I look at you, and I still can't believe this is real. A little piece of us is growing right here. I'll do anything to protect that.
You reached down, placing your hands over his. You knew he was already completely in love with this baby—but he had absolutely no idea that in just a few minutes, he was going to find out he was a girl appa
"Speaking of perfect things," you said, carefully untangling yourself from his warm embrace and standing up.
"It is officially time for your birthday treat. Stay right there. Do not move an inch."
Jiyong chuckled, leaning back against the cushions and resting his chin on his hand.
You carefully pulled the white pastry box from behind the milk carton and set it on the counter, lifting the lid to take a second peek at the gorgeous cake. The elegant chocolate lettering seemed to gleam under the kitchen light.
You carefully pushed a single tall gold candle into the center of the cake, striking a match and watching the tiny flame flicker to life. Carrying the cake with both hands, you slowly walked back into the living room, singing the familiar melody of the birthday song.
The warm glow of the candlelight illuminated Jiyong's face as you approached.
"Make a wish, appa'' you whispered.
Jiyong closed his eyes for a long silent moment, a peaceful smile on his face. When he opened them, he looked straight into your eyes, blew out the candle, and watched the tiny wisp of smoke curl into the air.
''Hmm no point. My wish has already come true.''
"Don't get too emotional yet'' you teased.
You handed him a sleek silver cake server. "Because the real present is waiting inside. Cut the first slice right down the middle''
Jiyong raised an eyebrow, looking down at the pristine cream frosting. He gripped the handle of the server, aligning it perfectly with the center of the cake.
"Right down the middle?" he asked, looking up at you one last time.
"Right down the middle," you confirmed.
Jiyong gave you one last playful, questioning look before pressing the server into the frosting. The blade sank in effortlessly. He sliced clean through the center, separating the first neat wedge, and carefully pulled the silver server back to reveal the hidden interior.
His brows knitted together in instant.
"Oh," Jiyong blinked, his voice trailing off as he tilted his head to the side. "Pink? Why..."
Before he could finish his thought, before his brain could even begin to piece together the colorful clue, you moved with a sudden burst of nervous excitement. Reaching behind your back, you gently placed two empty, elegant wine glasses onto the table right next to the cake stand. And then you slid a small glossy piece of paper right between the stems of the glasses.
It was a black-and-white sonogram picture. Right in the center was the unmistakable, tiny silhouette of your growing baby.
"Wait," Jiyong breathed. He looked from the photo, to the pink interior of the cake, and then up to your face. "Wait... pink..the baby? we're having a daughter??''
You couldn't hold it back anymore. A giant tearful smile broke across your face, and you nodded vigorous.
"We're having a baby girl''
The words had barely left your lips before he wrapped his arms securely around your waist. Before you could even utter a sound, he lifted you right off your feet.
Jiyong laughed as he spun you around in a wide, dizzying circle right in the middle of the room. Your feet dangled in the air, your hands instinctively gripping his broad shoulders as the room blurred around you.
"A girl," he laughed against your neck, his voice thick with a sudden wave of emotional tears as he finally slowed down, gently setting your feet back onto the hardwood floor.
He didn't let go of you, though. He kept his hands braced against your waist, leaning his forehead tightly against yours. You could feel his uneven, rapid breaths.
"A little girl," he repeated.
Jiyong leaned in and kissed you—a soft kiss that never failed to make your heart flutter.
"We should actually taste this," Jiyong murmured against your lips, his voice still thick with emotion as he finally pulled back from the kiss.
He looked down at the pink cake, "After all, our daughter practically picked the flavor."
You giggled, wiping a stray tear from your cheek as Jiyong picked up the cake server again. He carefully plated two generous slices of the pink sponge cake, carrying them over to the living room where the fireplace was already crackling warmly, casting a soft, amber glow across the entire room.
As soon as you both settled onto the plush rug right in front of the hearth, your two cats, Zoa and Iye, immediately trotted over. Sensing the calm, joyful energy in the room, Iye curled up tightly against your thigh, purring like a tiny engine, while Zoa flopped down across Jiyong’s lap, blinking lazily up at him.
"Look at them," Jiyong whispered, gently stroking Zoa’s soft fur with one hand while holding his plate with the other. "They already know they're getting a human sister."
He picked up a small forkful of the cake, ensuring there was a perfect balance of fluffy pink sponge and sweet white cream. Instead of eating it himself, he turned to you, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Open wide, Eomma''
You smiled, leaning forward to take the bite from his hand. The cake was incredibly light and sweet, melting on your tongue. But before you could even swallow he dipped his index finger into the extra frosting on his plate and swiftly booped the tip of your nose.
"Jiyong!" you gasped.
"Perfect," he gloated, admiring his handiwork. "Now you match the cake. A cute little pink nose."
You reached out to swat his shoulder, but he caught your hand easily, leaning in to kiss the very spot of frosting he had just placed on your nose. He licked the sweetness away with a soft chuckle, his lips lingering against your skin for a moment.
Once the plates were set aside, Jiyong shifted closer, wrapping his arm around your shoulders and pulling you securely against his chest. His right hand instinctively found its way back to your stomach, his long fingers tracing gentle, soothing circles over the fabric of your shirt. Zoa and Iye readjusted themselves, sandwiching the two of you in a warm, furry barrier of comfort.
"So," Jiyong began softly, his chin resting comfortably on the top of your head as you both stared into the dancing flames. "A little girl. We need to start thinking about names. Real names. Not just 'Baby'."
"Do you have anything in mind yet?" you asked, tilting your head up to look at his sharp profile, highlighted by the firelight.
He hummed thoughtfully, his eyes reflecting the warm embers. "Well, I want something that sounds gentle but strong. What do you think of Chaewon? It feels very elegant. Like she would grow up to be someone very graceful."
"Chaewon," you tested the name out loud, feeling it roll smoothly off your tongue. "I like that. It sounds very classic. What about something a bit more modern? Like ...Seoah? It means an auspicious, beautiful omen. And she really is our most beautiful surprise."
"Hmm, beautiful. But you know..." He paused, a dreamy look entering his eyes as he looked down at his hand resting on your belly. "I’ve also always loved the name Hayun''
"Hayun is gorgeous, Jiyongie," you whispered.
Jiyong left a soft kiss upon your cheek.
He sighed. Leaning his chin on your shoulders. ''Maybe she'll inherit my love for music."
"If she inherits your creativity, we're going to be in trouble," you laughed softly.
"And I wouldn't have it any other way," Jiyong murmured. He squeezed your hand tightly.
"Chaewon, Seoah, Hayun.. we have time to decide. We can whisper them to her every night until we find the one that makes her kick."
He pulled the blanket up over both of you, sealing you into your own private world. Safe by the fire, surrounded by your purring cats and wrapped in the arms of the man you loved.
You leaned your back fully against his chest, your head resting perfectly in the hollow of his shoulder.
In the silence, the both of you thought of names. Multiple choices flying through your minds when Jiyong spoke first-
"Chaewon," he whispered.
The exact second the name left his lips, a sudden distinct thump rolled against the palm of his hand. It wasn't just a faint flutter this time—it was a definitive, strong little kick, right against the spot where his fingers rested.
You gasped, your eyes flying wide as you looked down at his hand.
"Did you feel that?" Jiyong gasped.
He pressed his palm down just a fraction firmer. "Jagiya, she kicked! She actually responded to it!"
"I felt it," you laughed, fresh tears blurring your vision as you gripped his forearm. "She likes it. Oh my god, Jiyong, she really picked her own name."
"Chaewon," Jiyong repeated
He gently moved from behind you and sat facing your belly. He pressed a soft adoring kiss directly against the fabric of your shirt "Hi, Chaewon. It's your appa''
You looked down at your husband as he continued to talk to your daughter and you couldn't be more happy knowing that your beautiful little Chaewon was resting safely inside, just waiting to meet the world and will have the most loving father.
❛ content | kwon jiyong x female reader | strangers to ?, mdni, little fluff, bittersweet, pining, mentions of sex & alcohol, language
Sometimes, when Ji-yong’s off tour, he gets this itch.
Not literal. Metaphorical. Tour ends, the lights shut off, and suddenly he’s just... still. No crew, no call times, no adrenalin. His body rests, but his brain? His brain starts looking for motion.
Sometimes, that motion looks like travel or locking himself in a studio for ten hours with nothing but the mic and his own ego.
And sometimes?
It looks like sex.
Nothing wild. Not news site-worthy orgies or some god complex fantasy. Just something familiar. People he trusts. Cities he knows. People who text back with a wink and nothing more.
Like his past hookup.
‘Still got the scratches?’
‘Healing. Thought about showing them off at dinner.’
‘Only if you don't want to get re-invited.’
Clean. Easy. Physical.
They know who he is. He knows who they are. No games. No post-coital eye contact loaded with unspoken questions. Just heat, good rhythm, maybe a laugh after. A nice arrangement for a man trying to forget he's too wired to sleep.
That was the plan tonight.
Not to sleep with them, specifically — they were in a different city — but to find something easy. Familiar. Maybe even new, if the stars aligned.
Friend of a friend was throwing this rooftop drinks thing. Low-key. Good crowd. Soft music. Warm enough to not be awkward about coats.
He almost didn't go.
And then he saw you.
Didn't even catch your name at first.
You were wearing an oversized jacket, boots, and jeans like you weren’t trying to impress a soul. No makeup obvious enough to notice, hair up like you’d been running late. And still? Still stunning.
Not in the blow-you-away, jaw-dropping model kind of way. In the... look again kind of way. Something in your mouth, or the way you held your glass like you knew what you liked.
You didn't even glance at Ji-yong.
Because he’s an easy man that got his attention real fast.
Ji-yong wandered over to the drinks, mostly to get closer.
"Is this the only wine," he asked you, "or am I about to embarrass myself by asking for red?"
You glanced at him. Not through him. At him.
He smiled. Charming but soft. The usual.
You blinked. "Think it's rosé-only tonight," you said. "Could be worse."
"Could be sangria," he offered.
"Could be boxed sangria."
Jesus. A real one.
He tipped his head and poured himself a glass. "To survival, then."
"To drinking questionable things on strangers' rooftops."
He liked that. He liked your voice, too. Low, a little raspy, like you didn't care enough to make it sweet.
"Are we strangers?" He asked.
"You tell me."
"What's your name?"
You told him. Just first. No Instagram handle, no mention of knowing who he was. He gave you his anyway.
"I'm Ji-yong."
"I know," you said, sipping your drink, not even looking at him anymore.
No smile. No fan-crazed glint. Just a fact.
Well, shit.
You both talked for over an hour.
Not just the polite kind of talking, either. Real and stupid stuff. The music. The dog someone brought ("Who the fuck brings a Frenchie to a drinks party?"). The weirdly specific type of people who only wear ramie in Korea.
You made him laugh. Properly. And not the oh-you're-so-charming-I'll-play-along kind of laugh. Genuine.
Ji-yong liked how you looked when you were amused. Tipped your chin, lifted your eyebrows, said "Jesus Christ" like it was punctuation.
You were magnetic. And you weren’t trying to be. That's the worst part. The best part.
So he leaned in.
"You always look at people like that?" He asked.
You looked up, mildly amused. "Only when I'm suspicious."
"Of me?”
"Of anyone who wears nail polish better than I do."
Touché.
"Could try complimenting me," Ji-yong says, still polite, still smooth. "I don't bite.”
Liar. He does.
You shrugged. "I don't think you have to. I bet people just lie down and offer their neck.”
Jesus.
That went straight to his spine.
He liked the way you said it — bored, like it wasn't even meant to provoke. But it did provoke.
So he pushed. Just a little.
"You flirting with me, love?"
You blinked. Twice. Looked at him properly for the first time.
Then laughed. Fucking laughed.
"Oh, wait. Are you seriously flirting with me?"
You sounded surprised. Like you thought the both of you were just riffing. Bantering. Like he wasn't dead serious about fucking you six ways from Sunday if you gave him the green light. Every position, every angle. Just to see you come apart under him.
But he kept his tone light. "Might be."
"I thought we were just being dicks to each other." You said, smirking behind your glass before adding slowly, "you're persuasive. But fictional."
That made him pause.
"Fictional?"
You gave a lopsided smile. "You're the guy people daydream about while dating someone else. Not... real."
Not real?
You didn't mean it to hurt. But it did. Not sharp. Not deep. Just... enough.
Ji-yong laughed, but it came out hollow.
"You don't think I'm serious?"
"I think you're gorgeous and curated and slightly terrifying. But I'm not your type."
The audacity.
That made him tilt his head. "And what's my type?"
You didn't flinch. "Someone who already knows they're fuckable. Who don't need convincing. Makes it easier for you."
Shit.
That was accurate.
He likes confidence. He likes ease. He doesn’t like convincing anyone they're worthy of being touched.
But now? Now he wanted to convince you.
"I'm not saying I'm not," you added. "I just don't have the energy for it tonight. And I don't do casual."
And then your phone buzzed.
You glanced at it, sighed, and looked back up. "My friend's calling me. You've been fun."
You smiled. Small. Infuriating.
"And very pretty."
Very pretty? Well, thanks, darling. Really.
That should've been enough. Flirt, smile, walk away.
But then you added, "Hope someone writes a fanfic about this someday."
And he stood there, jaw slightly slack, watching you disappear.
You didn't even look back.
Ji-yong didn't go home with anyone that night.
He talked to a girl for a bit. Cute. Nice tits. Wore perfume like she meant it. Smiled up at him the right way.
But his brain was stuck.
Replay. Rewind. Your voice in his head: "I thought we were just being dicks to each other." Your laugh. That fucking smirk.
He should've texted someone. Could've. Would've been easy. But he didn't want easy. He wanted you.
Or maybe just the version of you he didn't get to undress.
Ji-yong opened his Notes app. Typed:
Didn't even want you til you smirked like that. Didn't know I couldn't have you til you left.
Fuck.
Then closed it. Laid awake for longer than he should've. Didn't even jerk off.
Just stared at the ceiling like a teenage boy who fumbled the bag.
Two weeks later, another party. Different location. Same vibe.
He didn't expect to see you again. Definitely didn't expect to catch you watching him talk to someone else.
Someone beautiful, touchy — was leaning in, laughing too hard. The usual routine.
And across the room?
You.
Boots again. Different jacket. Same expression.
You raised your glass in a fake cheers. Smirked. Then turned away.
He fucking felt it in his chest.
He ditched the one he was talking to five minutes later.
When you both crossed paths by the bar, you didn't act surprised.
"Didn't think you'd remember me," you said.
"I remember."
"Mm. Memorable, was I?"
"Hard to forget someone who called me fictional."
You shrugged. "You've still got your main character face. It's unnerving."
"You've still got villain energy."
"God, thank you."
Ji-yong laughed. But underneath it? He was buzzing.
"Leaving soon?" He asked.
"Thinking about it."
"I owe you a drink."
"I think you owe me an apology."
"For what?"
"For not chasing me."
Fuck. You wanted him to chase you?
"You wanted me to?"
"No. I wanted you to want to."
That should've turned him off. Instead, it lit a fire.
The power. The tease.
People like you-they're complicated. Him? He doesn’t do complicated.
But he wanted you. Bad.
"You're trouble," he says, watching your mouth.
"You're late," you replied. You touched his sleeve. Barely. Then leaned in. "Looks like you still want me."

The taxi drive from your home to the venue wasn't far, around 20 minuets, Jiyong insisted to get someone to pick you up but you declined since you finished work late and you didn’t want to bother anyone so you'd just make your own way there.
The lights of the city shined through the window of the taxi as you pulled up around the back of the venue. You hand the taxi driver cash and thank him before stepping out of the vehicle.
The breeze around you sent shivers through your skin as you rushed to the entrance. Once you were in front of the doors, you were stopped by security. "Can I see your pass please?" The man professionally asked, You slid the lanyard from behind your jacket and showed it up to the man.
His eyes scan the pass, he nods and opens the door for you to enter. The warmth hit your skin as soon as you walked into the building. You walk down the halls looking for Jiyong's dressing room, luckly you spot his manager and head towards him.
"Hey, do you know where Jiyong's dressing room is?" You smile.
"Yeah he's just up there." He replies pointing his hand in the direction down the hallway, you nod a thank you and head towards where he pointed.
Your eyes spot a sign on one of the doors. 'GDRAGON' was written in black bold writing. You step towards it and give it two knocks. You're waiting a couple seconds before you hear the door click open, as the door opened your view was met with your boyfriend.
His once red hair now fading into a coral like color was styled nicely ontop of his head, when he saw your face a slight smiled appeared and he embraced you into a hug, his arms wrapped around your waist and yours went around his neck.
The warmth of his body gave you comfort, you miss being in his arms, you are proud of him and you are so glad he's back doing what he loves, but that means he's busy again and you get to see him less. "I missed you so much". You said into his chest, he pulled back and looked into your eyes.
"We were together this morning." He chuckled.
"I know but I still missed you." You gave him a pout, he leans forward and presses a sweet kiss onto your lips, you hum in satisfaction.
He pulled back from you and headed towards the couch to sit down, you turn around and close the door. You admired him from afar his more confident enegery was replaced with a more worried and silent one.
You could tell something was off, he'd always treat you the same no matter how he was feeling. But tonight he was different, you know he has a hard time talking about how he feels but you decided you'd try at least comfort him.
You walk over to the couch he's sitting on and gentley sit besides him. "Ji, is everything okay." You softly spoke.
He tenses slightly at your words then relaxes, you knew not to pry that much, if he didn't want to tell you, then you'd understand and leave it alone.
He didn't say anything nor did he move he just sat on the couch in silence looking at his lap, his legs were bouncing anxiously against the floor. You hated seeing him like this especially when you didn't know what was on his mind.
You softly place a hand on his thigh to try soothe him, he looks down at your hand and places one of his ontop of yours.
He sighs before speaking out. "I'm just a bit nervous, it's been awhile you know, what if i'm not good enough for them anymore."
The words made you frown, It may have been awhile but you knew his stage presence was still incredible, his voice was still beautiful, he just needed to know that.
"Baby, you are good enough for them, you always have been and you always will be." The words softly left your mouth, your fingers now rubbing small circles into his thighs.
He looks up at you and gives you a small smile."It's just that i'm getting older and I've changed, but it feels like everyone wants the old 'gdragon' back, and you know i've been changing up my music style." He confessed. "I guess I just don't want to disappoint anyone." He carried on, his eyes had a sad like look in them now which made your heart ache.
You hated when he put himself down because you knew he truly loved what he did.
"Ji, stop worrying about this, your fans absolutely love you, its good that you’re trying out new things and different styles."
"Thank you jagiya." He quickly spoke, he then gently put his hand on your jaw. As much as your words helped you could still tell that he was tense.
You pull him closer to you and your lips start placing gentle but almost teasing kisses across his jaw, You softly grip his hair pulling him back slightly, your lips then made their way to his neck and that's when he finally let out a quiet moan.
His hand that was once on your face was now gripping you hips tightly as you continue to place kisses on all his sweet spots.
"Just relax okay." You hummed between kisses, you trail your hands down his chest painfully slow, his breath hitching at every teasing movement you made, his grip on you became tighter and his noises became louder.
When your hands finally make their way to his thighs you rub them before kneeling in front of him on the floor.
"What are you doi-" You cut him off "shh, let me take care of you baby, let me show you just how amazing you are." You whisper looking up at him.
Your hand goes to his bulge which was now semi hard from all your light touches, you slowly palm him through his jeans. “Hmm fuck.” He moans out his head rolling back at your actions.
you continue to stroke him until he’s fully hard, you undid his belt and jeans, you tap his thigh signaling for him to lift his hips up. Once he did that you slide his jeans down his legs leaving him in just his boxers.
“You going to let me relax you baby?” You pout softly stroking the tent that was obvious in his boxers, he lets out a soft hum before nodding a yes, at his conformation your hands go to the waistband of his boxers and you slowly pull them down enough for his cock to spring out.
You lean forward and press a quick kiss to his tip before pulling away, his cock twitched and he let out a soft sigh. You kiss his cock again but this time you started placing them more slowly down his shaft.
"So proud of you." You say between kisses. "You're so amazing baby." You praise him, after a couple minutes of teasing Jiyong’s hand came down and softly gripped your hair.
"Please jagiya." He whispered looking at you with a pout, without warning your mouth went around his cock causing him to let out a moan, his grip on your hair became tighter your head was now slowly bobbing up and down around his shaft.
"God, your mouth is so fucking perfect." His voice shaked, your mouth working slowly around him, you did enjoy teasing him, the way he'd twitch and let out these little whimpers, that turned you on.
you started to pick up your pace around him, you flatten your tongue so he could go further into your mouth, his eyes rolled to the back of his head, he tightened his grip on your hair and his hips snap up and you take him all the way to the back of your throat. “Just like that baby, fuck You’re going to make me cum.” His voice was hoarse and the words went straight to your core causing you to clench your thighs together.
“God, my sweet girl is always looking after me.” He stuttered out, you moan around his cock as a reply, his hips snap harder into your mouth his cock hitting the back of your throat each time. You look up at him closely, studying his appearance, his head was rolled back onto the couch mouth open and eyes rolling to the back of his head, moans and praises left his mouth, he was beautiful like this you thought. You urge your mouth to go faster and deeper around him, you dig you nails into his thighs and you force his cock to the back of your throat before swallowing around him.
A whimper ripped through his throat. “Do that again, fuck. I need to cum in your mouth.”
He was falling apart in front of you his breathing became faster and his grip became tighter. You repeat your actions from before, putting him as deep as you could go, he forces your head even further around him and you gag.
He gave you a few more hard thrusts. “That’s it, i’m going to cum. fuc-.” His words got stuck and a moan left his mouth instead, his warm release hit the back of your throat, his grip now being released from your hair.
Once he caught his breathe he pulled you off of him gently, you swallowed his release and wiped your mouth in the process.
“Come here.” He hummed patting his lap, you stand from the floor and straddle him, your hands hold onto his shoulders so you could balance yourself.
His hand cups your jaw. “Thank you, I feel much better.” He speaks massaging your jaw between his fingers.
“Anything to make my man feel better.” You smile.
He places a loving kiss on your lips before he’s pulling you into his chest, the room was filled with silence, it was comfortable, just you and him with no worries to think about.
Your moment was interrupted by a knock. “You’re on in 10 Jiyong.” A voice from the other side of the door exclaimed.
Jiyong sighs before removing you from his lap, he fixes himself up so he looks presentable. “Do I look fine?.” He asks facing you.
“You look hot, don’t go stealing all the girls hearts now.” You smirk, He lets out a laugh before leaning down and giving you another kiss.
“I love you sweet girl.”
A/N: Hope you guys enjoyed, currently working on daesung fluff so that should be my next post let me know if you want to be tagged❤️
➤ PAIRING: GN!READER X BIGBANG (T.O.P, GD, DAE) ((no tae cause that man is married and has a kid))
➤ GENRE: MISCELLANEOUS
➤ WARNINGS: SERIOUS RED FLAGS, ETC.
T.O.P:
RED — SECRETIVE. Seung-hyun never genuinely means to be secretive, but from his past he typically enjoys to keep to himself. People love to twist his words and use them against him. While doing so, he ends up not communicating very well. He tells you that he's working on it every day and you can see that he is definitely trying his hardest. Tabi wants to become the best version of himself with you, even if that means he needs a little help along the way.
GREEN — RESPECTS BOUNDARIES. If you tell him that you do not want something, or it makes you uncomfortable, he knows to never do it again. He's very good at remembering these things, and he notices even the little things that you thought he wouldn't. This feature helps him keep his "gentleman" status for being kind.
BEIGE — HIS DATING PROFILE SAID “183 cm if that matters”. When you two first met his bio stated his height, which surprisingly made you fond of him. Once you met him in person and confirmed that it was true, he told you that it was actually just a joke (even if it's correct) but he was just desperate for someone.
G-DRAGON:
RED — LOVE BOMBING. Ji-yong has little to no clue that he does this. He's been told off by many girls for doing such a thing, but he's never known what it exactly meant. He thought it was a kind gesture, gifting presents, showing affection. But it gets to the point where he's doing it excessively. Once you told him what was wrong with it, he learned to limit himself from it.
GREEN — COMMUNICATION. GD is SO good at communicating how he feels to you. As a K-pop legend he's always found it difficult to show how he actually feels, but with you, it's an entirely different story. He's good at giving compliments, how much he loves you, and even what is making him upset. Ji-yong hates yelling, in fact, he has never yelled at you before. He believes that keeping his cool helps weaken the situation, which it does.
BEIGE — USES A LOT OF ELLIPSES… | Something about using them makes everything more simple. In his mind, periods are too bland, exclamation points are too happy, and ellipses are perfect. He has to use them at lease once in every sentence, like he's leading you on or something.
DAESUNG:
RED — DENYING. Dae-sung forgets a LOT of things. So the denying part doesn't come in until he does something and completely forgets that it was him. I was going to put "blaming" for him but they both work hand in hand. If he truly believes he didn't do anything, he will go to very high measures to show that it wasn't him, specifically blaming.
GREEN — EMPATHETIC. Dae has always been such an empathetic person. He tries to hide it under his happy and bright demeanor but the second he sees you crying, he will be joining you. Out of all of the Big Bang members I would put him in second place for his emotional support (Taeyang in first, T.O.P in third, GD in last/in no way am I saying GD isn't good at emotional support but out of all of them he is the only "T" LMAOO. I think all of them as great caregivers).
BEIGE — USES REACTION GIFS IN SERIOUS CONVOS. Back to the emotions topic, this man has issues taking things seriously, he's usually just acting silly. He doesn't really know any other way to ease the situation to a calmer level. As per usual, he's a Millennial...this behavior isn't odd. :3
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS! IF YOU DID PLEASE SHOW ADMIRATION OF MY WORK BY LIKING, REBLOGGING, SHARING, OR COMMENTING! IT REALLY SHOWS ME HOW I AM DOING AS A WRITER ♡
