A The hobbit AU where Bilbo is a highly experienced hobbit who has traveled the world, knows how to fight and even speaks Khuzdul before he even meets he Company. But neither himslef nor gandalf tells the company about it so everyone finds out about bilbo skills as the journey unfolds and they'r all just like "Damn who tf is this dude".

Meanwhile, Thorin is glaring daggers at Bilbo while secretly wishing he could make him his consort.

It seems that after the quest, no one in the company wears golden jewelry, opting instead for humble wooden beads.

I do prefer cartoon ish style in my works, but the consort deserves a lot more than that.

AU where, Thorin has left for a diplomatic meeting and bilbo is bored so he decides to get a lower back tattoo with Thorin’s initials in Khuzdul script in the middle.

Upon his late return, Thorin finds Bilbo already asleep but the next day, when the hobbit wakes up the King has already left for a Guild meeting. So while getting dressed Bilbo chooses trousers that will reveal the tattoo if he bends over even slightly.

Arriving at the meeting, he makes to sit next to Thorin, but then pretends to drop his pen and leans over in a way that gives his husband an unobstructed view of his new adornment. Frustrated by the sight, Thorin cuts the meeting short, they slip away and have great sex for the rest of the day, kingly duties be damned.
