new verse - ☾ v. the lace road ☽
There as hushed whispers spoken amongst the enslaved uruk, those who have been forced under the tyrannical yoke of the Master. They speak of The Dagalush - The Imp, a small but clever creature that will guide the snaga-slaves along the Lace Road to Freedom. The Dagalush weaves maps of lace for the uruk to follow, and will help spirit away those who are lucky enough to slip the bonds of enslavement while the overseers aren’t looking.
In which Bilbo lives amongst the Free Orcs of Middle Earth, and guides those seeking to be free of the Enemy’s influence to safety. Delicately woven strips of lace are his calling card, mere fripperies to those who cannot read the map inscribed in each careful knot. The Imp-Burglar is a master at stealing people right out under the nose of Sauron and his vassals, and does not take kindly to aggression towards the refugees he shepherds.
