Hes a bit nervous, and not sure how to handle it. No ones ever asked him out before (that he knows of, but he's kind if oblivious)

He asks if you're sure, and asks if you think you'd be better off with someone else

Your gender doesn't matter to him, and after you afirm that you are, in fact, confessing to him…he very awkwardly asks if you like to go out sometime. He knows a good burger place

Going out with another male is one of the least questionable things about him.

He tries to act like you confessing isnt a big deal, but it is for him. Bill is a victim of societal conformation. You confessing means he has to confront why he feels all warm and fuzzy inside.

He's usually good at controlling his instincts, and while he leans into them, he usually doesn't do anything unconsciously

He tends to do it when he's half asleep, he'll just go up to you and head bump you

Usually head bumps lead to him leaning into you so you can pet him and give him scratches behind his ears

I just answered a very similar ask, but I’ll try to specify this one for a red panda. Legosi • Legosi LOVES small herbivores. You’ve scored tons of cuteness points for him just by existing. You’re perfectly his type! Even though red pandas aren’t ‘technically’ carnivores, you’re a big novelty in an all carnivore school and thus he can’t take his eyes off you. • He’s a bit scared to approach you at first, so you’ll have to do the initial talking. He doesn’t want to scare you off by being too eager to get to know you. • He buys you bamboo for lunch. Jack • Jack is fascinated, and wants to learn all about you. He’ll even write things down. • “Not many animals know that there’s actually a third category besides herbivore and carnivore, and that’s omnivore! I didn’t think I’d get to meet one in the flesh, but red pandas are omnivores, right?” • He warms up to you right away, and shows you the ropes of things at your new school. Bill • Bill is.. awkward around you at first. He doesn’t really get the deal behind red pandas. Are you a herbivore, or a carnivore? How casual can he be without freaking you out?  • “Yo, nice stripes,” he says, pointing at your tail. Carnivores tend to be more touchy with each other than herbivores, and Bill would love to touch your fluffy tail, but he’s not sure whether it’d be rude for him to do so considering you’re not a traditional carnivore.  • You’re both red and have some stripes, so he’s fully ready to become your bro once he gets a bit more accustomed to you.

He's got a complex about having a boyfriend, let alone an herbivore boyfriend. The fact you're an herbivore is almost worse than Bill coming out of the closet

He watches out for his claws, but it doesn't take long for him to realize your quite formidable.

Part of the reason he likes you so much is he can be himself and show off what a strong carnivore he is.

While a bull is not an animal most would try to piss off, it doesn't stop Bill from saying things like "Don't worry Babe, you got a strong tiger to watch out for you"

Els takes an instant shining to you, and adores that Bill got over himself enough to be with you

Expect that, a lot of Bill using you as a couch. As a feline, he's not as touchy feely as a canine, but being close to you , and touching you, is important for him

Louis...has no idea what breakdancing is and how to do it. Don't get him wrong, he can dance, but he does more 'classic' dances.

Even so, he tries his best to study it a bit, and while some of the moves are impressive, he doesn't find them so elegant. He does acknowledge how impressive you are though

Louis loves the unique color of your fur, and loves spending time just stroking your fur, and admiring the way the light hits it.

Your flexibility is something he admires, but doesn’t voice. He blames it on your being a feline.

Gouhin • Gouhin isn't used to overly cuddly affection, since he's always so busy with work. He may be a bit gruff and distant about it but he'll begrudgingly accept it as long as you catch him during a resting period. Eventually he comes to enjoy it as it allows him to relax. • Gouhin has a lot of experience with carnivores so none of your behavior will be new to him, in fact he rather likes felines. Less dense than canines, anyway... • Just... don’t spread yourself out on his desk. He may be a litttttle bit endeared but you won’t get it out of him. ;) Bill • Bill really likes being around other felines, as he finds them easier to get along with than other species. He appreciates that he doesn't have to 'tone himself down' around you or assume a fake persona like around herbivores. He appreciates just... being able to be a cat and not be some school role model. • He'll be rather competitive with you, it’s his way of showing he respects and values you as an equal. He’ll expect a lot of bonding via playfights and stuff, but hey, cuddling is fine too. • When you’re just sitting together Bill will play with your tail without realizing, especially if it’s really fluffy.  Legosi • Legosi doesn’t understand felines too much, but he eventually gets used to your cuddly nature, even if he doesn’t share it himself. Just don’t expect too much reciprocation from him, he shows affection in non touchy-feely ways. • He’ll be very thoughtful and read up about felines and their various habits. All his experiences are from Bill and the Shishigumi and a little of Tao so he’s seen a lot of the negatives and wants to.... start over fresh with you, so to speak. Your cuddly nature definitely surprised him. He also has some hangups when it comes to carnivores that he’ll have to overcome. • He might misunderstand your body language cues because for dogs wagging tail is mostly happy but for cats it means annoyance, so you’ll probably have to teach him things.
