Prompt 3 - Needle

Regulus was on his way back to the Slytherin Common room. He was just thinking he might treat himself to his last Liquorice Wand and curl up with his new potions book when he saw something on the ground. He stooped and picked it up. It was a very long and thin needle. It looked like a Billywig stinger. Perhaps some clumsy student had dropped their potion’s ingredients. He put it in his pocket, waste no want not, and carried on to the blank space of wall that concealed the door to the Slytherin Common room.
“Serpens.” He spoke to the wall, and the familiar wooden door appeared.
He pushed the door open and was greeted by utter chaos. Bright blue Billywigs spun around the room alongside half of the Slytherins. They floated around the room, rolling in fits of giggles.
Regulus immediately noped out of there. He’d go to the library or for a walk around the grounds. Let someone else sort out that mess.
As he was walking back up to the entrance hall. He heard the unmistakable snicker of James Potter. He backtracked a few steps and pulled back the heavy tapestry hanging on the wall. Behind it, in a secret passage, stood James, his brother, Lupin and Pettigrew.
“I’m guessing you’re to thank for the mess in the Common room?” He asked, his eyebrow raised. He was answered by a round of laughter.
Quick as a flash, he retrieved the sting he’d found earlier and jabbed all four of them in the arm. The laughter cut out to be replaced with shrieks of surprise as he watched the four Marauders begin to float upwards.
He looked up at them and caught James’s eye. The other boy grinned down at him and gave him a cheeky wink.
“We’ll make a Marauder out of you yet, Reggie.” He laughed.
“Not a chance,” He replied as he stalked away from the giggling group, attempting to get themselves down from the ceiling.
