A Pride month born post-episode 8 au idea that’s been wracking itself in my brain slightly
So after a long, long while of finally settling in, making some extensions for the bunker to accommodate the recovering drone population due to solver itself being dealt with thanks to uzi and co, a j finally settling in and learning to chill in her own way and getting herself a job as a self-defense instructor for the wdf (cus it would be good to be on your toes still), everyones chill, sure v, j, n, and cyn are having remembering trauma right now about…everything but its fine, they have each other.
….but N remembers when J changed herself….to well…herself with tessa’s help.
Maybe…maybe she could do the same herself
Aka Post-episode 8 story of wholesomeness and of self discovery with a trans fem N (with the help of a trans fem J)
I want to address that I am not trans myself, so if I get things wrong with this one, I do not want you to think it was out of malice. My personal gender expression is more No Fucks to Give than anything else, so I hope that I get this right.

AU Criteria: N has not been feeling right for a long time, and is now having the time to process it, comes to remember … J once told him she'd felt the same.
AU title (optional): Binary Transition
Now that the war has settled, and N's family were settling into a new life, the drone was beginning to question a lot of thoughts that had been plaguing him for years. Questions that J admitted once to have been having them before she and Tessa transitioned her body.
N sits down and talks with Uzi, Nori, and J about what's been going on, and they help her understand what her body's been saying, and that they would support her and help her transition.
Socially, drones do not care about gender identity, and it was mostly adapting to the feminine form that N needed help with.
Uzi and Nori are working with N on fashion when Lizzy and V burst in to kidnap N for a 'shopping trip' to the local clothing stores. J and Uzi follow along just to keep an eye on them.
When N finally settles in on a nice and professional dress uniform of a space force pilot, which leaves Uzi's speechless, she sees herself in the mirror, and for the first time in a long time, knows peace.
