Got to experience the joy of explaining the chaos that is SVSSS to a friend. She started getting uncomfortable at the teacher-student thing until she realised that the BingShen power dynamics are truly inexplicable.

Sure.... so they actually do play video games the whole time and it's fun and then it becomes like a weekly thing and really quickly binghe gets good at the basic games like mario kart and like fps games and shennyuan is like damn this guys good!!

and he like always tells shang qinghua about their escapades and always goes into details like "he was smiling so much today i think he's proud of how good he is at the game!!! but i don't think the world needs to see this smile i think everyone would fall in love and we can't have that now can we!!" and qinghua who knows what this guy is (🏳️‍🌈) is like trying subtly to help him realise so hes like... "why not....?" and shen yuan has to take a moment to think and then hes like "..... economics........." and qinghua is ten seconds away from telling binghe to just kiss him already

but then on a gaming night they fight for some reason and it ends n a really bad note (if binghe [bingmei] has transmigrated maybe shen yuan gets fed up with binghe treating him like his "shizun" who shen yuan thinks is not him because he has no memory of living in pidw but binghe knows otherwise?) binghe is sad and plays a bunch of role play games to figure out how e should apologize (because he thinks it's his fault for some reason and Of course roleplay games bring the best advice!) and yuan is always moping to shang qinghua about it so then he actually Does say to binghe Kiss him bro 😭😭😭😭

so then the next week after a week of not talking shen yuan doesn't expect binghe to come over for the gaming night but he sets up everything anyway and calls it "habit" but he's actually just waiting for binghe to come over and he sits there staring at the blank tv for a while and as he's about to give up on waiting someone knocks on the door and surprise... it's luo binghe!!!! who, after heeding advice from shang qinghua, pulls shen yuan in, says "i'm sorry" and then they kiss and they lived happily ever after amen

Jiuyuan both have slight complexes about their subgenders, for different reasons though. Sy was not originally from this world and subgenders in general mess him up. Sj has his whole past. while binghe doesn't know the details of why they struggle with normal omega urges, he accepts them easil

Due to this, binghe is very careful when handling anything related to their omeganess. It sometimes very hard for him. Like, when he's watching shen yuan fidget restlessly and ,thinking no one's watching, he'll bring something that carries Binghe's scent to his nose and relaxes. or, knowing that his missing inner robe means that shen jiu is curled up somewhere, using them as a nest. still, as the great alpha he is, he will give them the space that they ask for. its no bother to love them from afar. he's been doing it for so long after all.

what does bother him is how easily shang qinghua brings out that area of them. shen yuan and shang qinghua have some weird connection. so while seeing the omega bring some of sqh's clothes for nesting materials, isn't the best, it's understandable. but shen jiu? shen jiu, who binghe struggled to win over, who binghe sometimes still worries will leave him. why does shen jiu soften so easily around sqh? he even lets his scent roam free around the beta, something he doesn't do with almost anyone else.

it leaves lbh feeling sulky and wanting to lock his omegas up, somewhere far away from others. the only upside was that whenever sqh's visits end, his mates always cozy up to him in an easier manner.

shen yuan likes seeing a pouty lou binghe ( though he'd never admit it). so while he doesn't put 2 and 2 together to why lbh is sad, he can't resist a sad lbh. shen jiu dislikes seeing either of them sad, so he dotes on lbh when he's clearly down.

Tbh before I read the actual novel, I adored Luo Binghe as a puppy begging for affections from his Shizun. Turns out he's a Yandere who, unpopular opinion but bingshen doesn't have the healthiest relationship. It's not a cutesies as I first thought. The character development isn't in favor for their relationship.

Honestly, after Wangxian, I feel letdown by this relationship. Wangxian is about balance and they actually fucking love each other. Wow.

as much as i joke abt bingshen being codependent lets be completely honest, moshang is 10× more. binghe atleast has the decency to allow his very human shizun to stay somewhere safe (somewhere binghe knows exactly where shen yuan is) but mobei jun truly acts like he'd die is sqh is too far from him (likely due to his abandonment issue)

shen yuan refuses to admit it but he cannot sleep well without his husband. when lou binghe is gone, he tosses and turns and eventually looks for one of lou binghe's robes and uses them as cover. only after than can he rest well with his husband not by his side

one of my favorite things is the concept of luo binghe noticing the small little cracks in shen yuan's facade.... i love when people write shen yuan as the typa guy to be like "5 more minutes😭" when sleeping OR THOSE PEOPLE WHO WRITE HIM AS A MESSY LITTLE BOY GAAAWSH!!!!!!!!!!

one of my favourite things though are those fics where for whatever reason shen yuan's facade slips like whether it be by those saying whatever ur thinking poisons or just drunk yuan I think it's so cute how binghe is always a little bit confused but is Completely over the moon to see his shizun being his true self... i just love the concept of binghe knowing that yuan puts on airs and I think that bing would want a time where yuan can just relax with no airs............

Personally i think that if yuan actually did drop the facade for bing for a bit everything that would come out of his mouth would make Zero sense to him LOLLL.... i LOVEEEE the concept of shen yuan just chilling in bing's lap telling him about how unoriginal this monster is or that monster is and he's using all this real world jargon and binghe is smiling so confusedly as he cushions his head on yuan's shoulder and listens AUHHHHHHHH BINGSHEN U GUYSSSS😭😭😭😭😭☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
