27. your favorite part of the writing process
gosh, this is a difficult question. I think it's that moment when you're working through a difficult scene, and you reread it over and over again until it starts to blur together like a mosh pit of letters all throwing punches at each other. that moment when nothing makes sense, and you can't get what's in your brain down onto the page in that exact way that you want, and you're stuck staring at that blinking cursor on the doc like it alone has ascended from the deepest depths of hell only to make you question the validity of your own sanity.
and then, suddenly, you think of a phrase or a paragraph that ties everything together, and it's like a faucet in a bone-dry sink suddenly creaks back to life. the words flow, and the relief that ebbs from confident fingertips is exhilarating. that's the best part.
28. your least favorite part of the writing process
30. share a fic you're especially proud of
I don't want to pick just one!!! there are a few that were such harrowing labors of love, and I still think about them and adore them so much. but I guess if I had to narrow it down to ONLY my hellcheer fics, it'd probably be heart begins to beat. while we're a lie is, of course, a whole entire chamber of my heart, the catharsis and grief I was able to spill into heart begins makes me beam.
