Alright, I'm thinking about a team of heros saving the world. And they succeed, but one of their teammates dies. They feel so much pain and grief. Meanwhile, the whole world is celebrating and cheering for them. Everyone else is so happy, but the team is absolutely devastated.

Worst part is that the team is expected to take part in the celebration. This just makes them feel even worse.
