This fledgling Pine Siskin managed to land on the planter hook successfully, only to then SLIDE down the hook....

... and end up on the hummingbird feeder! Look at that self satisfied face! So proud! Well done you!

I have an African Grey named Daverous, and he and his other siblings (they're all different birds) are as close to having kids as I'll ever get.

I'll be sitting gaming. My partner is doing something. I hear him telling me Daverous is going somewhere, and I talk to him just like a parent would. "DAVEROUS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I don't yell it, but I make my voice go really deep and extended, so hears me. "GET IN HERE NOW OR YOU'RE IN TROUBLE!!!" And he does. He waddles his way back in, where I'm standing with my fists on hips, looking down at him on the floor. I ask him, "What're you doing?" I say firmly. "Are you supposed to be over there?" And he just looks at me and I'm like "play with your box" and I wiggle the flap and go back to gaming and he does, he starts trying to dig around in his plethora of boxes lol.
