I made a bird fairy/fae! My dear mutual and I have played around with the fantasy genre and now fae are some messed up buggy bois, but I also wanted some fluffy ones. SO, we get these things. They eat their more bug like cousins and live in villages and their barns. More show up in an area when a baby is born, because if anything its a good way to have some of their relatives get lured in.

They aren't as inclined to steal children? They may kill a cow or strike you with some bad luck or disease, but they gave up a good chunk of their magic when they started living so intimately near man.

Yep that's a second mouth.

Bugs do like to burrow, and they had to become less noticeable to their neighbors now didn't they?

So this BEAUTIFUL piece of art is a drawing of a Fae species that is very very dear to my heart! 💜💚❤️ I lovingly introduce you to my friends, the Hynædra (h-ih-nay-druh)! This species of Fae live in Roosts that are similar to bee hives in the fact that they have a Roost Mother who rules over an assortment of Hynædra warriors, workers, etc etc. These jewel toned beauties love to be near colorful flowers and plants and also loooovveeee to race! They are wicked fast and their language is a humming sound mixed with clicks, ticks and a bell jingling sound 😹 in the “caste” or tier system in the Fae world the Hynædra are Wildlings or the lowest tier fae(Power wise) so the often stick together in groups! They are very territorial and somewhat shy! Though if you can befriend them and make contracts with them they make great spies and messengers 💋🌱💚
