I've been watching a lot of liminal horror essays on Youtube recently and it got to my dreams.
This guy showed me around a bunch of empty, strange and dilapidated spaces acting as a Realtor.

I made a bird fairy/fae! My dear mutual and I have played around with the fantasy genre and now fae are some messed up buggy bois, but I also wanted some fluffy ones. SO, we get these things. They eat their more bug like cousins and live in villages and their barns. More show up in an area when a baby is born, because if anything its a good way to have some of their relatives get lured in.
They aren't as inclined to steal children? They may kill a cow or strike you with some bad luck or disease, but they gave up a good chunk of their magic when they started living so intimately near man.

Bugs do like to burrow, and they had to become less noticeable to their neighbors now didn't they?
