Beautiful fact, hummingbirds are pretty curious and bold birds so, if they’ve ever watched you fill up their feeders don’t be surprised if they ever come near you and seem like they’re staring at you, hovering a few feet away. They might associate you with food or just be curious, especially if you’re wearing bright colors because they have incredible eyesight. They may be investigating you as well, they are very territorial especially around feeding and breeding grounds. Also, if you do feed hummingbirds, please remember to watch for the mold that can easily grow in their feeders (especially if you live in warmer climates) and swap out their nectar for fresh nectar every few 3 to 4 days otherwise they can get sick.

No booth pics, but since everybody else seems to be fond of the Cedar Waxwings too, I thought I’d share the bounty from today. The flock of about 20 is still around and feasts on anything berry in the area. They are so cool to watch!
