You want ugly? Try guinea fowl. Not just ugly, but mean to boot.

NO!!!!

Guinea fowl are another super duper underrated bird. They aren’t ‘mean’ - they’re used as natural guard dogs because they will protect other birds in a flock, and they’re AWESOME at hunting snakes, which protects other farm animals! Also, they aren’t ugly at all - weird little faces, but really pretty!

there’s multiple species in the wild that look really cool, too

also you can thank them for the generic feathers in every white mom craft
