So idk if anyone remembers my bird, Beppe, but for the last two years while I've been out of the country, my mom has been looking after him. I couldn't reasonably bring him across the boarder without putting him through a terrible amount of stress (airplanes, layovers, being stuck in a travel carrier for most of a day...), so I agreed last year to let my oldest niece adopt him. Well, Covid happened and she couldn't travel to pick him up. My mom was pretty gracious to look after him this whole time.

Recently she was put in contact with a local woman who keeps two birds, miniature horses, goats, a dog, and her daughters axolotls. Yesterday he went with her to his new home. I am terribly sad to have to give him away, but I am SO happy he is going to be around other birds and in the care of an animal lover.

“Uris shelf” only became a thing because Stan complained all the time to Mike how he detested the Dewey decimal system and how unorganized it looked

When Stan meets Mikes grandpa he brings a loaf of challah

His grandpa mean mugs him for a moment but he likes that Stan doesn’t stand for bullshit, they get along amazingly
