This is a cool dashboard! You can put in your county at the top (it starts at Washington, DC) and it will tell you how many birds are predicted to fly over you that night as they migrate and what kind of birds they are.

looks like NA central flyway is going bonkers tonight 👀 specifically birdcast is predicting pretty heavy migration for eastern OK, KS, and all of MO.

Today is an excellent day to go birding! Using a variety of factors, Birdcast predicts the likelihood of night-time migration. For more details and to see their maps go to @cornellbirds They are predicting that across North America over 300 million birds moved last night, and over 400 million will be moving tonight. The Bay-breasted Warbler migrates through Vermont in the spring and fall. It is typically only breeds in the northeast kingdom of Vermont, and most often in the boreal forests of Canada.
