Armand's Birthdate v. Feast Day

Birthdate: November 30th, 1480?

We don't really know when Armand was born.

We can't even really be sure of the year or the time of year. We know he was born in Podil, Kyiv, Ukraine. The first name we know for him is Andrei which is an extremely common name.

However, if you assume that Armand's family would've named him after the saint's feast day of his birth or close to his birth it would've been St. Andrew's Day (Andrei).

Eastern Orthodox churches are currently split between the churches that still use the Old Julian calendar and those who used the Revised Julian calendar (which lines up with the Gregorian calendar for fixed feast days). In the revised Julian calendar, St. Andrew's Day is November 30th.

Churches that follow the old Julian calendar celebrate St. Andrew's Day on November 30th in the old Julian calendar which is December 13th in the Gregorian calendar in the present.

If we assume a 1480 birthdate, (highly debatable, I don't think it works with what Marius and Armand actually say, but a spring birthday in that year does), November 30, 1480 (Julian) is December 9th, 1480 in the proleptic Gregorian calendar.

And that's another set of questions. Is Armand currently religious? Is he celebrating his birthdate, or a feast day, and if he celebrates a feast day, which denomination (which changes the calendar in use)?
