So, I’ve been thinking. I’ve read a lot recently about Mac & Desi & Riley and their various relationships. Someone wrote about the toxic relationship between Mac and Desi and her snide comments to him. This has been floating about in my head and whilst I don’t think I can write this right now I’m just gonna dangle it here if anyone wants to run with it:

It’s so funny talking to someone conservative my age because they’re like “yeah but under a labour government, we’ll be taxed so hard we’ll have to change our whole way of life” like???? Yeah?? I would gladly pay more taxes if it meant other people had healthcare, didn’t starve to death, had somewhere to live etc. How can you value luxury items over someone else’s life?

Today I was working on my term project for English lesson and it’s about Japan. I chose this topic because I’m actually learning Japanese and I thought it might be fun to do something I’m keen on. I love languages and I love the variety of cultures we have on the word so why not to make the term project about it?

To make my project more interesting I decided to take some of my manga books with me. Do you read any of them? If you do, which one is your favourite?
