Queen's not sure where these big hills of snow came from, nor who built the new ski resort, but if it gives her a chance to bond with the resident thrill-seeker, Uzi, then she'll gladly give it a shot.

Outfitted with a safety helmet, goggles, and a ski suit, she might look like she knows what she's doing, though she's never actually hit the slopes in anything that wasn't a computer game.

Once at the top of the slope, Queen starts gassing up Uzi, trying to get her as excited as she was for that custom course maker back in the summer.

The course ahead seems easy... at first. It's best to get her started with something on her level. Queen doesn't think there'll be a yeti chasing after her, like in the game, though who knows if the Mistwood's other residents will make an appearance?

"I have no idea what's going on," the small plush doll kicks a random rock idly. "I have no idea where my little red rubber hammer went either!" Pointing with a little red bear bean, she then says, "Do you think you can fly and see if you can find it for me?"

How can one possibly say no to a plush bear like Kookie Beary?

The rumor mill didn't run too deep when all the teenagers gossiped amongst themselves. Shadow had heard through the grapevine that Uzi had been sussing out the possibilities of some kind of other reality or something of the like.

So, as she passed the boy in the hallway, he wordlessly took her arm and pulled her into the divet of the hallway. Someone was clearly planning on skipping his next period...This was more important.

"Uzi. It's truly a shame: we don't talk as much as we should." They had similar styles and aesthetics after all! But, flattery aside, he freed her from his grip soon enough. "I had something I wanted to discuss with you." He pointed in the direction of the nearest supply closet. It was long since abandoned by the janitorial team. And it made a great place for Shadow's conspiracy board, and a hideout for skipping class either by himself or with friends.

They’ve never been to this area of the spirale before, but then again, that’s not saying too much. It’s been six months, but Chara really only has gone to a couple of places — too anxious of the new, too overwhelmed by the options.

It’s a bonfire. Charas never even seen a campfire, much less a bonfire, so this is . . . interesting, for sure. It’s still early in the night, the sun not even having dipped down past the horizon, so apparently people aren’t quite ready for ghosts stories. Apparently those are only a night thing, which doesn’t make much sense to them. Ghosts like the daytime just as much as any other monster.

Ah well.

They’ve found themself on the corner a chair, curled up so as to make themself unassuming. They found someone offering up chocolate bars for s’mores, but Chara’s never made one of those so rather than embarrass themself, they just snagged a couple of chocolate bars. They’re nibbling on one now, as other people join…

It's been a while, but Maria finally found a record player during her travels. It was a little pricey, but with her horse back to normal, she's been able to run more errands and make more money.

With the Jimmy Dollars record she got for Christmas, Maria decides it's time to pay Uzi a visit. She hitches a ride on Mister Blue and sets off for the townhouse she's found advertised around the city.

Knock, knock. Time to see if she's home and if she's up for testing this record player. Maria's wearing a scarf and a burgundy set of clothing: another pair of Christmas gifts to stave off the cold.
