What makes a Bitty different from a Monster?

*There are a few things that make a bitty different from a regular monster. Size is a good indication, but it’s not a fool-proof method to tell because some monsters are very small. Some bitties are also very large. Traditionally though, if you see what appears to be a monster that is only a few inches tall, it’s a bitty!

*Monsters also generally have differences in appearance and temperament, even within the same type.  Bitties have personalities and appearances that are pretty standard according to their type. This is because bitties are created from SOUL energy and ambient magic. Some bitties are produced this way in factories, and some are 100% natural and organic like the lamias and Felids! Monsters cannot be mass produced, but bitties may reproduce during their lifetimes.

*The final difference is that all bitties need companionship and affection to survive and thrive. Even wild bitties will find other bitties to travel and live with. If a bitty is alone for too long, they will become ill and may even dust! This is why it is important for bitties to find adopters to care for them.

What kind of bitties do your Marrowtaurs get along best with? do they all vary to much to give a definitive answer?

The latter is the answer! Marrowtaurs are their own individuals, they develop their own personalities, likes, and dislikes! Though, there are a few traits they keep with the bitty type, and thus some bitties that they can work with!

Marrows are hard-working bitties, who mostly like a neat area to live and enjoy order over chaos. They enjoy the outdoors, and some like gardening! They're usually adventurous, very social bitties!

As such, they'll get along with bitties who aren't very aggressive, who would like to go on adventures and go outdoors with them! Bitties who know how to keep their space but also won't turn down a few cuddles. With this in mind, they'd most likely get along with bitties on the Main Three spectrum, being Tale, Swap, and Fell bitties!

I know you didn't create the Brassberry, but do you think one could be instructed not to call its owner stuff like "Mama"? Ancillary to that, if I wanted to adopt a lamia, could I ask them to just call me by name?

*Yes. I use the default Mama because that’s a common way that a Brassberry (or any original bitty) will refer to an owner, but for a Brassberry (or any original bitty), you can instruct him to call you something else. I actually recall a post from the Brassberry bitty’s creator specifying that they would use a different name if you wanted them to.

*The lamias do not use Mama as a default. They will usually wait to call you something until you tell them what you prefer. I can’t speak for every bitty, but the lamias are very sensitive to other gender identities and the possible dysphoria that can be associated with them. They wouldn’t want to accidentally call you something that would make you upset or uncomfortable.

What is the correct plural of bitty? bitties or bittys?

*According to the original creator of the bittybones AU (who is no longer in the fandom), both are correct! You can saw bitties or bittys. I created this blog forever ago when they were still active and based my name on their answer to this question!

*Also, the term bittybones doesn’t just apply to skeleton types, though I often refer to non-skeleton bittybones simply as bitty/bitties. Bittybones is a general term for the tiny monsters which started out with a set of Sans and Papyrus types that actually included a rabbit type called a Punny! The original Grillby-type bittybones were called Grillbitties, a term which is still sometimes used for that type of bitty!

What is a bitty house? You mention it in your stories but never describe it. My imagination either falls onto a sideways box or a doll house.

*Bitty houses are where bittybones like to live, and there are as many types of bitty house as there are bittybones (and maybe more!). The lamia bittybones like to have a nest which can be as simple as a pile of blankets for a Corny or an elaborate throne of pillows and accessories for a Mamba. Regular bittybones generally live in either homemade or manufactured dollhouse style homes though a sideways box with a place to sleep works just as well.

*The bitty houses described in the Bittybones fanfic from my blog are custom built. There are multiple compartment “rooms” that resemble an open dollhouse with dividers to block people from seeing inside for privacy. Bitties can travel to different levels using stairs and ladders.

Where can I find info on Brassberries? From what little I've been able to find, they're only found in the BittyBones AU.

*Oh boy, oh boy. Time for some Brassberry information! First, you can find the original post about Brassberry bittybones here. Second, Brassberry is the Sans from Yanderetale (more about that later). Third, Brassberries come in two sizes: regular bitty size and dog sized (small toddler size). Brassberries can grow to full-size if their owner requests it or is in immediate danger. Fourth, there are sub-types of Brasberries:

Blindberry: a Brassberry that has been blinded to make him more docile

Biteberry: a Brasberry that is in a perpetual state of monster heat

Pure Bites: Docile, sweet, loves you so much, please love him

Blue Bites: sadistic and manipulative, do not allow near other bitties without supervision

Brass Bites: Big, dumb, horny

*As I mentioned, Brassberry is the Sans from Yanderetale. When ammazolie deactivated her original account, the original Yanderetale comic was lost, but if you Google “Yanderetale” you may be able to find it. WARNING: Yanderetale contains gore, sexual violence, and dark themes.

*Basically, in this story Papyrus (YanYan) is unhinged and kills some monsters, culminating in him eating Flowey’s SOUL (yes, Flowey had a SOUL for this AU). YanYan gains the power to RESET but he also unleashes a curse on Yanderetale which makes all of the monsters go crazy (yandere). The physical manifestation of the curse is the appearance of multiple eyes (body horror) when the monsters are experiencing yandere emotions.

*My story Those Unreachable Stars (Tumblr | AO3) is a self-insert story, but it also contains much of the canon story of Yanderetale.
