i got my bivalent booster today or the contagiously fun game that never ever ever ends

i am still novid, but there is a creepy news article that has been following me around the internet. it asserts that people who think they haven't had covid are fooling themselves and are most likely asymptomatic superspreaders. since there is no practical way to find out which is true, i guess i will have to continue to live in a world where both are correct?

I was able to get an appointment for the new Bivalent booster, so if you have been waiting it’s time to go get it. I was also able to pair it with a flu shot, so keep that in mind. The news is that it will be an early and bad flu season, so keep that in mind.

Scheduled my bivalent booster for 10/27. (My first booster was the day after thanksgiving last year, and I wasn’t eligible for a second booster until now.) Pfizer is all that’s available which I’m weirdly and irrationally annoyed by? I’m also super fucking dreading it, and I absolutely FUCKING HATE, like, actually scheduling an appointment to just feel like shit for a couple days, but I’m gonna fucking do it, because it’s just like, part of life now I guess, but I DO NOT LIKE. UGH. I’m going to try to make this be my only complaint, but no promises.
