Recently seen a crocheted spiderweb sweater tutorial for BJD in redbook. I don't like crocheting doll things much, but it looked so V-kei that I immediately decided I needed it.
I started working on it as if I could still read patterns and crochet, even though it's been at least five years since my last crocheting.
Just like before, I can't keep the stitches the same size consistently.
That's the beginning. Couldn't figure out how to do triple crochet at first and swore a lot. Then it finally clicked after I looked it up again, and things went much better.
For some unknown reason, the second piece turned out uglier, even though I re-did it at least thrice.
I worked on it for almost two weeks (evenings after work and not every evening).
Almost finished. Turned out that 50 metres is less than I thought. Wasn't enough for a second sleeve, so he's now like a prince from that Andersen's swan fairytale.
It's not exactly as in the tutorial, but that's the best I could.
