"You won't make a copy of your doll's dress for me because you're selfish!"
No, I won't make you one because I wouldn't be able to live it down if someone knew how much literal duct tape is holding this piece of crap together 💀

I made a second pair of tiny eyes! The iris is a bit too small for my preference on Fern, so I'm getting some larger eye molds and probably pushing the color scheme more gold than green next time. But I'm having so much fun making eyes!
time to show off what I'm working on right now: a coffin case for Malachi, my little peakswoods rabbit goon. I started with this plain coffin box, then carved it out to resemble actual boards before laying down some thin paint. that carving took forever ugh.
The new wig I made is complete! This one turned out way better than my first attempt. Turns out that it is, in fact, important to glue the hair into tracts before you glue it to the wig cap. It's much easier than just gluing loose hair.
It's not perfect but I'm really happy with how it turned out! And the process was really fun and I'm feeling very good about myself and my little wig I made.
The hair on the top, next time I'll have to make sure to make some tracts thicker so I can use them for the final top hair. I made all the tracts pretty thin so you can see through the top hairs to the tracts below. But other than that I think it turned out pretty decent.
I got some nail art parts/glue-on bits as a gift, and wanted to make something with the pearl & gold ones because the colours reminded me of Pepper's eyes. So here's a simple choker + earring DIY making process~
Lots and lots of pretty crowns drying in the meager spring sun ☀️ I'm finally starting to feel productive amidst all this chaos.
Black sclerae 🖤🖤 I'm starting work on a new stop-motion project and Gish is going to be in it! Hopefully I'll be able to share more of the process as it goes on.
Eyes made by me out of ploymer clay, acrylic paint and gloss 🖤🖤
I feel like this hobby has really shifted from 'appreciating and making cool stuff for your dolls' to 'buy buy buy as many dolls as you can'. and don't get me wrong, I love buying a new doll here and there! but I feel like I've noticed a lot of people buy dolls just to hoard them and then never do anything. I hope it doesn't affect their finances cause that would suck :(
