Judo is the hardest combat sport imo. So many things happening at once. The gripping, the footwork, the off balancing, the entry, the throw and so much more. So why would i continue practicing it at 42 years old? Well because it's just fun. And that's the key to staying fit as you age, finding something that you enjoy and just keep doing it. The only caveat is injuries. If you jump back into a sport or exercise routine too intensely after a long period of inactivity, you'll snap something up. Proper progression, guidance, accountability and coaching is a great way of getting back into it safely.
