I got an iPad!!!!!!!!!!! (Excessive punctuation 100% necessary.)

I was completely taken by surprise, and not one hour later we were at Best Buy, testing out various tablets. I ended up selecting the fourth generation black 32GB iPad, with retina display.

Now, I have not been the iPad's biggest fan since its inception. I generally regard it as more of a toy than a functional device. Honestly, I won't really be able to take iPads seriously until they at least have a USB port, Adobe compatibility, and a more usable keyboard.

That being said, I adore my iPad - and for what I need it for, it's perfect. It will not (and can not) by any means replace my macbook, but it makes my work look fantastic and it's terribly fun to play with. I've only had it for a day and I already can't go five minutes without touching it for one reason or another. Today I discovered the app "Paper" - and if you are at all artistically inclined, all I can say is WOW.

Every single app on this thing has a stunning interface - even fairly basic ones like Twitter and Netflix. Apple has always been great at intuitive design, and this is no exception.
