what kinda kitty is this!!!! never seen one like him before! 🤯🤯

this pretty kitty is one of my favourites! she looks like a black mink point tortoiseshell with high white!

A mysterious stranger a friend encountered while on a road trip!! We were both fascinated by both the brown and black coloring of the darker patches

Upon a first glance, I came to the conclusion of "oh, sunbleached black tortie, high white, easy!" and then looked a little closer... that tail! It seems to be chocolate tabby striping!

so... what's happening here? There are a few possible explanations!

Black minkpointed tortoiseshell

It's a normal black tabby tortie but the light messed w/ the colors

Chimera (NO! Do not assume this automatically without either a gene-test or other evidence!)

option 2 but w a chocolate self base

hmm i initially think option 2 but with chocolate base, but i’m interested by how they’ve described the black and chocolate colouring? i’m leaning more towarda the potential of a black minkpoint tortie then!

Chimera Twins Propaganda:

"Chimera/mosacism patterns are very fascinating as a person with mosaicism. With cats I really like Dilute/Non-Dilute or Longhair/Shorthair chimeras due to the dramatic look of them. But the Red and Lilac chimera has to be my top due to just how purple the lilac ends up looking next to the red. I also just want people to learn more about how chimerism and mosaicism work and what better way then showing how cool cats with it can look."
