Not my cat, obviously, but super curious about what Panko might be? Found through this post but has a Twitter account for more photos too. It’s such a cute coloration!
(Sorry if you’ve been asked this before, since it’s a not-unknown internet cat, but I couldn’t find any previous post)
Tortoiseshell (black and red) mink point with grade 5 white (mask and mantle)! [f 03 32]
how would you describe her color? she’s my pretty darling girl but I’m kinda guessing when I describe her coat.
seal tortoiseshell point! what a pretty example of one of my all time favourite types of cat!!
this cat looks like a blue tortie point based on her head and back, yet the spot on her leg looks very dark? what’s up with that?
blue tortoiseshell tabby colourpoint with high white. to me, her leg just looks dark in comparison to her white fur, and since she’s a point it would be darker than the rest of her body
My mom just adopted this beautiful momma with kitties. My sister says she's a calico colourpoint with lighter colors, even the brown on the ears and tail is light... i think she might also have a bit of tabbyness on the tail.
mama cat looks like a seal tortie point with low white! as far as i can tell, she has two blue self kittens with varying low white spotting!
A mysterious stranger a friend encountered while on a road trip!! We were both fascinated by both the brown and black coloring of the darker patches
Upon a first glance, I came to the conclusion of "oh, sunbleached black tortie, high white, easy!" and then looked a little closer... that tail! It seems to be chocolate tabby striping!
so... what's happening here? There are a few possible explanations!
Black minkpointed tortoiseshell
It's a normal black tabby tortie but the light messed w/ the colors
Chimera (NO! Do not assume this automatically without either a gene-test or other evidence!)
option 2 but w a chocolate self base
Jay, do you have any ideas? :)
signed, mod robin!
hmm i initially think option 2 but with chocolate base, but i’m interested by how they’ve described the black and chocolate colouring? i’m leaning more towarda the potential of a black minkpoint tortie then!
-mod jay
Final assessment: black minkpointed tortoiseshell!
The beast?
blue broken mackerel tabby tortoiseshell with low white! what a gorgeous creature!
I've been catsitting for a while and have seen lots of pretty kitties, but I haven't been able to figure out quite what's going on with these two girls! An interesting colorpoint tortie and a sugar swirl old lady.
these lovely kitties look like a black self tortoiseshell point and a black classic tabby lynx point! such gorgeous kitties :D
