I did think mink or maybe sable point black self, but sun rusted black self is also likely. Robin, what do you think?

Hm, it seems to be a black minkpoint self (aka sablepoint)! However, I do agree with Jay. Either could work, but it's probably the former due to the color of the eyes and the more uniform patterning on the face and legs.
