Chapter 25!
Hey African American, it is officially time to move away from negative energy. You are suppose teach your Children that it's about alignment and balance on this Planet that they call Earth. Black Women, Black Men, and every single Black Household across this Stolen Land called America should have the ANKH within their Home and Life. How easy you can forget this when you’re caught up enjoying or stressed in life. Don't judge yourself, be kind, smile, and feel the Divine and Black African Ancestors guiding you from within. Never worship the CROSS because it is a Roman Caucasian Capital Punishment on this Earth from the 8th century BC to the 5th century AD according to their pagan and colonization stories or records. My last work is my own take on a piece created by the Kenyan fashion stylist, creative entrepeneur and Performing Artist Liz Ogumbo. Her design is inspired by her African heritage pointing to the fashion-savvy individual by using sleek cuts in a simple-yet provocative design and attitude from the inside out to ensure that every day is celebrated as an opportunity to leave our mark also through what we wear.
So with all of the illustrations finished I can finally make a booklet compilation of them, which will soon be available to order online or at conventions. I will let you know of the details before the end of the month. Thanks very much for the support!
The first and only piece on which I'm drawing a man is inspired in the brand (of the same name) from the Mozambican fashion stylist Omar Adelino. The designer created this collection inspired by the adjectives of the brand's character and characteristics that makes it be. Produced entirely in black color, refined finishes in lace and stones give a touch of class. The next illustration will be the last one so I'm really aiming for something that mixes the different approches I took in the whole project. Thank you.
An illustration inspired in one the designs of the Guineese stylist Lausiana Santos from her brand BULA. The original design was a bit more complex in terms of patterns so I simplified it a bit. Still it's amazingly beautiful!
