What do you think of fate?
Fate... huh.
I think... there was a time where I was young enough to believe I could outrun mine. Oh, how I wanted to believe I was the maker of my own fate.
I've since learned otherwise.
But that's not a bad thing, really! Not always.
Fate means it will work out. Even when you... lose faith in everything else, it has to. It has to have meaning. And sometimes we're the ones that give it that meaning.
And that's part of fate too.

It had been a few weeks since Claire had come by with Phantasos and Deke. The bell to the bookstore rang as a large coral lamia in a turtleneck sweater slithered in tongue flicking at everything. A tiny mythtale faerie bitty was perched on his shoulder chattering happily about engineering.
Lady’s boys were lounging on the front desk while she worked on stocking the historical fiction section. Jaws was messing around with Lady’s tablet while Indie dozed happily, listening to Doc reading aloud from a book on robotics.
When they heard the bell ring, the Fell Bitties gave grouchy grumbles. Doc marked his place in the book and slithered over to the edge of the counter with a wide smile on his little face.
“Welcome to Cover 2 Cover!” he chirped. “How can we help you today?”
My lil bro bitty is anxious about not being useful enough. Do you have any suggestions to help with that?
This is abnormal. Most lil bros aren’t concerned with things like that. Have you been refusing his requests to help? Or he could simply have anxiety issues in general.

unsurprisingly, like many errors, he doesn't seem to be a fan of unexpected physical contact. fortunately? he does seem to be less indisposed to violent reactions in response.
Brianna rested quietly laying down on the ground in a park. Her new starter ran back and forth investigating things boldly. She was very glad she'd chosen a fennekin. He was so fluffy and soft, perfect for cuddling and holding. When he'd hold still, at least.
Rose was walking her Arcanine and Elektrike when she saw someone on the ground. Well, it was a nice day, and there was a Fennekin nearby- probably the girl’s- and the small fox had gained the attention of her large dog Pokemon.
“Godric, what are you thinking...?” Rose asked, noticing the Arcanine’s tail wagging as he looked at the Fennekin.
