ground cow bone knife blade, hafted in fire-charred cedar, sealed with crazy glue (yes I know its anachronistic AND tacky but I'm a bit broke and was already using it as hafting glue so....), wrapped in faux sinew and possibly-real snakeskin that I got off a thrifted belt.

based roughly off Ovid's recounting of the Ophiotauros. I may carve or burn a cow's head into the base of the blade at a later date, idk.

all pieces hand-carved and assembled by me

no electric tools were used in the making of this item

Something you might like that a friend pointed out to me: Year of the Dog: Nasus + Warwick, Lux with dogs in recall Year of the Rooster: Azir I guess?? Year of the Goat: No Soraka skin Year of the Horse: No Hecarim skin People can complain about Lux getting this skin not being fitting whatsoever, but at least her recall includes dogs and the other two skins are actual dogs (well, jackal and wolf ig) Even though Lux may not fit perfectly, Riot has missed MANY opportunities to make good fits

I said I was done with this but yeah. They only really started making the skins “make sense” for the Lunar Revel recently. Another as I got also pointed out this is an Asian Cultural Holiday- A lot of the Asian players love Lux.

I was super unispired at first. Then i watched a bit what others did to get an idea of the meaning of Bladecraft. So you got an Akali ! I have a small crush on that champ, i like her a lot but i’m so bad at her.

I never put my attention on Sona, and yet she’s the support i play the best and the champion i mastered the fastest. I won so many ranked with her, it’s unfair that i never give her love directly, no ? So have an Elderwood Sona ! As a small tribute to that champ i carried with a lot once upon a time. I do love you Sona ! She’s so sweet after all. Kinda happy with how this one came out.
