i don't have one.

3. Favorite hobby

i hate this question and its ability to make me realise how boring i am. i wish i had the opportunity to do more, and lived in a better place for all of this, but i love horse riding, sailing, and cycling. i like drawing but can't. i love reading.

4. Favorite fruit

think i'm gonna have to say strawberries

5. Fictional character you relate to the most

i haven't read it for a couple of years, but i remember emphasising a worrying amount with the main dude in Crime and Punishment.

6. Who would you cosplay if you had the chance?

honestly never thought about it. what does anyone think i'd suit?

7. Favorite dessert

8. Favorite Disney film

ooh. fox and hound used to be a favourite, i remember that. but i love basically all of them, i'm not even going to think about this more, there'll be too many! i never actually saw a lot of them.

9. Favorite Miyazaki film

is he the studio ghibli guy? i think my two favourites are probably spirited away and howl's moving castle. but they're all so incredible.

10. If you were animal, which one would you be?

wild horse.

My "Ideal Life" in a dozen years

Following my good friend gwenwinin in her imagination of her ideal life, I thought I might ponder on the same question.

I don't quite know if I would prefer the city life or the country life, but I'd like a modest house: a few bedrooms, a sizable kitchen, a study/library, a nice living room and a balcony to watch sunsets with my wife, with whom I'd spend some time with regularly and love each other very much.

I don't seek to make a lot of money, certainly because it's not likely in the field I wish to go in. I'd like to see myself as a project manager for a community organization for francophones in a minority situation, after a few years of working somewhere else. I hope that I'll have been well-traveled and cultured enough at this point, having seen Europe and Asia hopefully. I hope to volunteer every so often with the youth in the community to guide them and help them through their teenage years.

This would also be the point in my life where I'd start to consider having children soon. I'd like to be stable-minded, self-assured, confident, compassionate and happy.

Yeah, it's not very accurate. In the story, she ends up being small and terrifying and gets mistaken for Death on a pretty regular basis.
